Some of the nicest coffee I have ever had, echoed by my partner too, who is a self-proclaimed coffee snob so it must have been good haha!

We sat in and there is a pleasant but peaceful vibe in there. I wouldn’t say it’s cosy, but it’s a great place to enjoy a coffee and have a chat / get some work done. The quality of the coffee is unmatched though, and they seemingly roast their own beans? I mean they have a roaster but we forget to ask as we left. Either way, outstanding coffee, worth a visit just for that. A flat white and a black coffee did the trick for us!

There is a small cabinet of cakes and treats but we didn’t sample them unfortunately, but they are there if that’s your thing! The service was lovely too, clearly very knowledgeable guys who love coffee. Effect and chatty, it was a joy...

I have never been disappointed by the coffee in this place, espresso (with and without milk or milk sub) as well as filter. They get beans in from Morgon and Clifton and I think they intend to start roasting themselves. The staff turnover rate seems extremely low, there has been the same baristas there for years and one of them is the owner which probably explains the extremely consistent quality. Easily the best coffee in Sutton Coldfield (I've not found anywhere close) and although I haven't sampled everything in the Midlands, I would be surprised if there was much that was better from a coffee point of view.

Nice seating outside (in pre...

First time I've visited today and will be the first of many. The coffee is exquisite. I like to support independents and this is my new go to place in Sutton. I had my coffee to go & will hold off commenting on the atmosphere or venue etc as I have not had the chance to experience that but the service was delightful. Not over familiar and not bad attitude which I find tends to be the case in a lot of coffee shops I've been to, strange but true, I don't want you to be my best mate but I don't want to feel like I'm inconveniencing you either. This chap was just genuine. Looking forward to a silky velvety sumptuous full bodied flavoursome...

Firstly the coffee is delightful - I can only comment on their flat white, but it's a step above any other that I've tried in the area. Velvety, revealing, consistent. Secondly, the sheer number of books I have begun reading here, that I haven't been able to start anywhere else, is testament to the atmosphere the owners have created. With a quiet library feeling too much like school, and a house being home to chores and responsibilities, the people, the music, even the seating, help make a novel feel more like a short story. 10/10 - I could go on, but I have a book to read and another coffee to order.

If you really appreciate a 'damn fine cup of coffee' then you need to walk past all the high street chain coffee bars in the main area, and head a few hundred yards up the road to here. Has to be one of the best independents in Brum, serving consistently excellent coffee, in whatever form you wish. Also happen to have a lovely range of locally made cakes on display, at sensible prices.
