Me and my family went here yesterday, we got there at about 7:15, we knew there was a Aston Villa game on later in the evening but the place was completely dead with one other table. We ordered our food which was fine, average for a grill. As we was still eating it started to fill up and as we had good seats to see the screens we heard the waiter promise our table to another couple which was awkward considering we was in the middle of eating they then sat the couple next to us which put us under pressure. After this point the one waiter was constantly hoovering around us.. she tried to clear the table when I was still eating which was just rude. We was enjoying the football when someone who I can only assume was the owner who was out having beers with his family and hadn’t assisted the staff once walked over to the table and snatched our empty glasses, it was very clear they wanted us to leave to seat more tables. This was not even 10 minutes into the game… I understand they want to make money where they can but I just found it extremely rude how pushy they was to get rid of us when we was the first ones there and just enjoying a meal a chat with our dad not hurting anyone. It also had a weird smell and just looked kind of dirty. Would never go back there would much rather just go to tapri next door, the staff are a lot nicer and overall a much...
Read moreOnly place in Sutton that I know of that serves goat meat. Great selection of dishes I ordered a non veg thali which the chef allowed me to customise. I chose a dry chicken jalfreizi and a goat curry on the bone. I was even allowed to change one of the vegetarian curries to my favourite dal makhni. You can guess this is my second time here so I ordered what I like best. Ordered both naan and roti. The roti came buttered which is rare. Personally I think all rotis should be buttered but always have to ask for this. Small details like this make a big impression. Come and visit if the big screen sports places nearby are not your thing and you want food with nuance...

I had an amazing dining experience at Himalayan Grill in Sutton Coldfield today! The buffet selection was fantastic which was a pleasant surprise. I especially enjoyed the Achari Chicken, Tandoori Grilled Chicken Tikka, and the crispy fries. The Zulbia was a perfect sweet touch to finish off the meal, and the craft beer selection was excellent.
The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the service was top-notch. A special shoutout to Pushkar, the manager, who ensured everything was perfect throughout my visit. This Nepalese restaurant is definitely worth a visit for anyone looking for delicious food and great service. I'll definitely be...
