Mediterranean Pizza — Restaurant in Birmingham

Visited 4/4/2024 about 4:30pm. The guy at the counter had an attitude from the minute we arrived. I asked him what the meat was in the Donner kebab and he told me horse meat. I wasn't sure if he was kidding and after repeating it several times, he said, "No, of course it's lamb, that's what donner means."

Well there's another menu item called "chicken donner" so I mentioned that, asking, "If donner is only lamb and this says chicken donner, does that mean it's a mix of both?"

He rudely replied, "No it's only chicken, the mixed one says mixed". As if it was a stupid question.

I decided to get the "Chicken Kebab in Pitta". He didn't hear me so I told him a second time. He then charged me only £5, rather than ask if I wanted the regular (£5) or large (£6). When I mentioned that he said, "Ok so which do you want then?" And I told him the large. "HE then asked ME, "What's the price for that one?" Even though it was written in big numbers on the menu. So I had to tell him the price of his own item at his own job.

That wouldn't be such a big deal, but when my food arrived, it was obviously not chicken. I asked him and he said, "No, you said lamb." I replied that I didn't and that in fact I told him chicken twice since he didn't hear me the first time. He then changed his story and said I had pointed to the lamb one. I'm not sure how he could say that, as the sign is about 3 meters from the counter, where I stood when I ordered.

Angrily he replied, "It doesn't matter" and whipped my food into the rubbish bin, and went to the kitchen to remake it. I asked instead for a refund because at that point I didn't feel safe eating something prepared by him, as I didn't know if he was going to spit...

(2023/03/22) First visit today at 6pm, no other customers when I walked in. I expected to wait 10 minutes for my food but instead waited for 15 minutes. Just could not imagine how long it would take in a busy period.

The food, slightly above average is all I can say. The portion was great, but the freshness could be the biggest problem? The Nutella Dip might be the freshest item, very authentic taste. Just like the ones you could buy in a store. Everything else, not very fresh.

Trapp Box with Chilli Mango Tenders = 13.95 Bought it only because I wanted to taste their Shrimp. However, the Shrimp turned out to be the biggest disappointment. Hard and salty, definitely ruined the box. Hard because not fresh enough, salty because too much salt and pepper were added. The rest of the box was at least better than the Shrimp, would give 4 stars but no where near 5. Remember 3 Tenders and Chips only cost 7.50, bonus with a Dip. Spending 13.95 for a Trapp Box (no Dip included) is definitely not worth it, unless you really want to try the Shrimp yourself.

First impressions of entering was it is clean and sleek.I ordered a trap box with a side of holloumi fires which came to a total of £20 and a water paid separately.The Food was exceptional, especially for a wing shop.The new breed of fast food shops that are popping up every where have raised the bar in standards these days And wing trap is one of them.The most notable detail I noticed is they dress there food very thoughtfully.The little lemon garnish on the holloumi fries and the sliced chilli peppers and flakes on the niblets and wings was a classy touch.Visual first and taste after.The only reason I did not give it 5 stars was for 2 reasons 1 I asked for no fries because I ordered holloumi fries instead and 2 they did not give me any wet wipes or tissue with the meal, I had to go to the counter to ask for them.Other then that I will definitely use them again when they take extra consideration in the smaller details.Remember last impressions count as much...
