After dining at Nandos 29/03/2024 with my partner it was bad from the get go when my partner received the wrong order, she ordered a buffalo chicken burger and received a fillet of chicken. We questioned the order mistake so not to be overcharged for what we were given.
Next as my plate of pale food was placed in front of me with pale chips and a sprinkle of peri peri little did I realise what was to come.
The chicken wings were very moist and I ate only two "Thankfully" the rest was boxed up for us to eat the following day.
5 minutes after leaving we just reached colmore row when my stomach began to feel on fire, thinking it was just the spices but at the same time not being able to travel home, I had to find the nearest bathroom.
On public transport I became extremely unwell and literally collapsed at the bus doors, I vomited on the bus and continued to do so until 2 am. Feeling like the grim reaper was in the door way the sickness and diarrhea was overwhelming with the feeling of being plunged in an ice cold bath due to my extremely high temperature.
The absolute embarrassment and shame of taking so ill on public transport, the having to sit on the toilet with a bucket Infront of me was the worst experience of my life. When I look back at the whole situation of the unkempt ladies the pale presenting food and how wet the meat of the chicken wings were were all signs of what was to come.
"Will you be informing your staff of this issue to make sure it doesn't happen again" this is far from over as I also have a heart condition which was seriously compromised and this will be taken further as we have the food box which is being tested by the food stands agency.
My leaving this review on here is only just the beginning and the first of any reports being made as a legal team will be dealing with this case.
BEFORE EATING HERE CHECK THE TOILETS AND LET THEM BE YOUR FOOD ...
Read moreIf I could have given 0 stars I would! I went to Nandos in Grand Central with my two sisters, and it was on Tuesday (which is a very quiet week day) and asked for a table of 3. So the waitress name Holy wanted to place us on a table right at the entrance of the restaurant which was a table of six, so we requested politely if it was possible to place us somewhere else because it wasn’t that busy and there was only a group of 6 waiting for a table as well. However Holy was very quick to reply that it is not possible and that we can’t sit upstairs as well because it’s full. However there were so many people that were only two sitting on a table of four. This clearly shows horrible floor management.
The waitress called the manager (which wasn’t of great help as well) being on the position that she is, it would be expected that she would resolve the issue however she just made it worse, by telling us that upstairs it’s not busy but that the people upstairs are busy doing “something” I have never seen a manager being so unprofessional. In the mean time the quem outside was getting bigger and the manager said is that we have to join the back of the queu 😳 while she knew we have been waiting for so long.
I have been in so many Nando in a lot of countries and I have never been treated with such bad customer service and it seems to be a custom to not care about the clients in this type of competitive market how can you do that? You lost 3 customers simply because you lack professionalism as a manager and a waitress! And they were still laughing when I asked for their name because they know that no measures will be taken because it’s a disorganized...
Read moreAdmittedly I am quite suprised that this place at 4.2 stars! Me and boyfriend both entered the restrant. The man met us at the door. And was like "oh yeah go down there." Being quite dismissive and not really caring? And left us there to go and greet the next customer! There was seats in the middle so I assumed he ment there. No, he then told us to go upstairs as there's more room. So we both went upstairs. A man behind the counter told us to sit at the table pointing to two long tables in the middle. I'm paranoid about covid but there was no methods of preventing the spread. Maybe 1-2 were wearing masks. But the fact we were at long tables where we would have to share put me off a bit. We sat down at one only to be moved for this "big event" coming in. There was no difference between this empty table and the empty table behind us. I don't really understand why we had to be moved AGAIN. So when we were finally say down. They didn't give us a menu. When we finally got our food (I wasn't timing it but it took way too long to come out) my boyfriends meal went missing! So we had to wait another 5-10 minutes for his. Couldn't think it could get any worse but it did! I got half way through my chicken and it was PINK! We won't be coming here again! Also, the so called big event was a family of four. Who didn't even know a the family of 2 up the table....
