Disappointing Experience at Subway – Coventry Road
I recently had a very disappointing experience at the Subway branch on Coventry Road. The level of customer service was extremely poor and not what I would expect from a well-known brand like Subway.
When I approached the till to pay for my order, I offered to pay using either cash or card. To my surprise, the staff member at the till refused to accept cash and insisted on card payment only. When I politely questioned this, he rudely responded, “Why pay cash when you have card?” — a completely unnecessary and unprofessional comment.
In addition to this, the staff’s overall attitude was disrespectful and dismissive, with offensive language used in front of customers. There was no courtesy, no basic customer care, and certainly no effort to resolve the issue calmly.
Furthermore, the quality of the food was subpar, making the entire visit unpleasant. Given the combination of poor service, bad attitude, and low-quality product, I would not recommend this location to anyone.
Subway should take serious note of the conduct at this branch, as it reflects poorly on the brand as a whole. I hope appropriate action is taken to address...
Read moreAbsolutely ridiculous ! Used subway thousands of times. Never experienced anything like this. Ordered two footlongs with the qr codes from two separate accounts. Which I have done several times before and had no issues. What should’ve been a 5 minute order turned into a 20/30 minute order as the person serving didn’t seem to know how the offer worked. As there was no parking outside I sent someone else to collect the food with the qr codes. This wasn’t sufficient so I went in with the same codes and still apparently problematic. To the point where another customer used their qr code for my order to go through ? The server also mocked me to the same customer. Very degrading and embarrassing. When I began to eat my footlong I realised half the bread had been removed. I later established this was so the ‘filling doesn’t fall out’. Strange ? If a customer has asked for all salads they expect all salads with the bread too - not scooped out ! Never have I ever experienced this at any other subway. Won’t be coming...
Read moreDONT COME HERE!! The service and food is still as bad as it was THREE YEARS AGO. Their subway points system has been down for SEVEN YEARS, is that even possible? Even if you were to get a sub with points it wouldn't even be edible, their meats have most definitely not been changed for at least a week or more. I decided to get a salad on the side and it was disgusting, moreover it took decades to get out of that store. Workers are slow and incompetent, as someone who's mood is always brightened by subway, today, I have never felt worse. This is the worst subway branch to exist, I should've realised since there was not a single customer in sight. The cherry on the icing was definitely the green hair that I saw whilst trying to eat my sub. It ended up in the bin, along with that yellow salad. Place needs to be shut down and before that the plump lady who served me and my daughter today needs...
