Outstanding. Inimitable. World class. Simply the best. Taqi has an ingredient which is the difference between a great and outstanding culinary experience, namely passion. Taqi is the owner and master chef , and leads his excellent team by example…… and his goal and vision is to provide a superb experience for his clients. I met Taqi whilst he was running a food stall during Ramadhan and he focuses on simplicity …..using the finest ingredients, cook using charcoal, and ensure his clients are happy by continually asking for their feedback. This gentleman has a zeal for food and loves to experiment with new ideas. For example, even when he makes cheesy chips he uses the juice from freshly made chicken breast to enhance the flavour. This is not on the menu, but if you ask nicely, and he has time , prepare to be vowed. The beef burgers are available in different weights and cooked to perfection using his secret blend of spices and ingredients, and the chicken burgers are cooked using fresh chicken with his own marinade. Taqi re-defines the word gourmet ! The location is easy to find with lots of parking. This is simply one of the nicest and cleanest food establishments that you can visit, and you are greeted by a smile and exemplary customer service. The aim is to provide the finest food cooked to an exemplary standard, all with the aim of having happy customers. The business and making money is almost a bi- product, and I wish more eateries could focus on the food and customer service, and then the business would then be built organically on a superb reputation as Taqi is continuing to demonstrate. Be prepared to wait for your food as everything is made fresh, and there is usually a queue of repeat and discerning customers waiting with excitement for their food to be delivered...

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Taqi's with a large group of friends, and I must say, it was an outstanding experience from start to finish. From the moment we made our reservation, the staff went above and beyond to accommodate our party of 20 with grace and professionalism.

We had cycled 100 miles for a chartiable cause and the highlight of the evening was undeniably the food. The menu catered to a wide range of tastes, and every dish we ordered was an absolute delight. The flavors were exquisite and the presentation was artful. It's rare to find a restaurant that can consistently impress every member of a large group, but Taqi's managed to do just that.

Equally impressive was the attentive and efficient service we received. Our servers were not only knowledgeable about the menu but also incredibly patient with our group's various requests and dietary preferences. They ensured that all our orders were accurate, and the food arrived piping hot.

What truly stood out was the restaurant's ability to handle a large group smoothly. The kitchen staff and cashier were down to earth and reciprocated our energy.

In conclusion, Taqi's exceeded our expectations in every aspect. The combination of delectable food, impeccable service, and the ease with which they accommodated our large group makes this establishment a standout choice for any occasion. I can wholeheartedly recommend it, and I look forward to returning to savor more of their culinary delights in the future.

Best food place in brum, the wait can be long but understandable because it’s a new place and the foods amazing. I go here every week😂 must try - Mac and cheese bites and the Mac and cheese pot. First time I went the guy gave us some for free while we waited ( we was going to order them but they just about had a little bit left - was amazing). Would definitely recommend trying this place, my go to! The chicken panini is amazing and heard the smash burgers are the best too. Fries always fresh and hot.

Update: I still go here every week. The burgers are AMAZING! I finally branched out and tried a couple different things. I’m not a huge beef eater, but the taqi burger is SO GOOD just tastes amazing. If you love chicken then try the KD burger you can’t go wrong. Best chicken burger out there. Food is ALWAYS fresh and tastes better every time I come here😍 the house special lamb panini is so so good too. Honestly you can’t go wrong, without a doubt best food place in brum.
