Used to be my favourite pub. Now it's the worst pub in the area. Manager is never around in the evenings. Fights are regular occurrences. New roof terrace is supposed to be no smoking but most tables have got smokers on them, including smoking dope. Toilets have been disgusting for a long time now, but bank holiday weekend they were flooded with pee and poo and customers were expected to walk through it to use the toilets. Staff refused to let us use the disabled toilet instead. Glasses not collected. 30 minute wait at the bar and 45 minute wait for the app. Manager just bans anybody who dares to complain about the conditions. Needs a new manager.

My favourite wetherspoons in the West Midlands, and in my top 25 out of 422 visited. There's some very good ales here including: Jaipur and Citra. The staff know how to look after the beer and make sure that there's enough staff to avoid long waiting times. Last night I enjoyed the Simple Beef Madras with chips and a Hazy Jane for under £10. I regularly have breakfast here with family members or alone. Smart roof terrace that's ideal for topping up your tan.

This was an adult meal, I brought three meals and I have to say service at bar was great and fast. I had to upstairs as it was busy. Table was dirty and full of plates and glasses. Had to wait to get it clean. But the meals were let down as other plate had few chips . I enjoy going here. Staff are nice and good place to go with friends. Sadly food let it down. I will say their breakfast is better

We come to this pub very frequently and we have never had a problem. The members of staff that work there are so lovely and helpful apart from the manager that came up to us yesterday. We ordered food before 9pm and the manager came and asked us for our IDs after we had ordered. I had my ID but my boyfriend didn’t have his. I am 23 and he is 22. He said that we can’t be in the pub because we have no ID. I said but we haven’t ordered any alcoholic drinks we have just come for food as we’re hungry and he said that we have to leave. He sat next to us on the table slouched and smirking as he was telling us that we need to leave as he can be fined £2000. He also was calling my boyfriend ‘bro’ which he asked him to stop calling him bro and smirking while telling us to leave as it is very unprofessional as a manager. I also asked him to move 2 meters away from me as he was sat right next to me and with my job (primary school teacher) I have to keep my distance from people, especially people I don’t know. as I have to be very careful with my job as I could be putting children at risk. He said he would but he didn’t move over and carried on talking to us for a while. The girl came to our table with our drinks and he said ‘take them back’ quite rudely towards his own staff member, it was also quite loud which was embarrassing for us as people were looking at us as if we had done something wrong. In the end he asked us if we want our food and obviously we said yes and he replied ‘but is it worth the £2000’ as he said that he has previously been fined £2000 for this. In the end he said that we can have our food. I’m not sure why this whole conversation was needed after we had our food and non-alcoholic drinks in the end. When he brought us back our drinks he said to us that we need to leave at 9:30pm as a deal. We did as we didn’t want to speak to him again, he was so rude and ruined our...

Very bad service from all of the staff, Their don't care attitude towards customers is Clear. I was Served at the Bar and ID'd which is fine. I asked for another glass and was told i needed to show ID for another glass. My friend then came down to show her ID to get a glass. we went back to our table and was then followed by the manager and asked to show our ID's again and was asked who the cocktails were for and was told that if there is underage drinking we would be escorted off the premises (yet we had valid ID) The glasses were dirty the cutlery was disgustingly dirty. The food was obviously microwaved and tasted disgusting.

There was a family next to us with a wine bottle on the table enjoying their family meal when one of the staff rudely came over and took it away for giving there daughter a glass of it. She was rude and aggressive to the family calling them irresponsible parents and refused to refund them. She then split half of the glass of wine all over me as she was in such a rage. Her attitude was disgusting and the way she spoke to the ladies daughter was outrageous ( In my opinion she should be sacked for her rude manner and lack of customer service in resolving a situation).

My whole experience was a shambles and i didn't want to stay at this place a minute longer than needed. I felt like i wasn't allowed to be in such an environment and being watched for drinking alcohol yet i am 23 years old. I will not be stepping foot in this place again and is lucky that i am even giving them One star.

The Blonde manager and the blonde Bar staff need to learn how to get some manners and how to treat customers because their whole attitude to everyone...

What can I say. Have been a few times. Visited there yesterday with my family for my daughter's birthday. We ordered food and drinks and asked the waiting staff if they could present my 9 year old her birthday cake after our meal, the staff member we asked said of course we will let the manager know. After our meal my husband went down to the bar to ask if my daughter could have her birthday cake now with candles, bearing in mind that a party of other people had done exactly the same with their family members on the table opposite ours with no problem. The blonde manageress was very rude to my husband stating that this is something we don't do here and rudely said "No we are short staffed" even though the place was not as busy as I've seen it. My husband then came back to our table to tell me. My daughter was very upset. On leaving I myself approached the Manager and asked politely for a quiet word when I stated my concerns and upset of the situation, she was very laid back without a care of upsetting us. We will not be returning and advise they take up another manager with more social skills and more of a welcoming and helpful attitude to families dining for birthday...
