Tortilla Birmingham Victoria Square — Restaurant in Birmingham

MAJOR DISAPPOINTMENT & POOR SERVICE. Husband and I went for 2 large burritos, you can see the difference in the size. My server was extremely stingy in adding the fillings/ toppings, and quoted the extra price for toppings when I called him out for not adding enough fillings, and even misguided for example choose one of sour cream or cheese.The salsa topping was a joke, I had to ask him to put the same twice with no other toppings as it was too less (Only 2 can be taken) :(. This is not what the website says abt picking one from cheese and sour cream and neither has been my past experience this bad. On top of that, I had chosen coriander rice, I kid u not every bite I had had hard sticky texture as if the rice was stuck/scraped off of the bottom. I went ahead and complained, to which they said we will let the manager know. The large burrito which is otherwise an oversized meal, this time I'm left hungry. 'Build your own burrito' is a total joke!

Strangely, my husband right after me was served by a lady, and had the best burrito and filling/topping portions. Never going to this burrito place which was my favorite since the past 2 months. Also, please avoid this guy server, or...

I have to give 3 stars because the menu is nice and funny, as you have to "Build Your Own". Even if they did not have Quesadilla on stock (my friend's first choice) because apparently the machine was out of order, we opted both for a burrito. So, this choice, a burrito with beef and veggies, justifies these 3 stars. It is the minimum to express how I appreciated that burrito, it was really good!

I have to say that the presentation of the food in the display was awful, if not terrible. The place looks alright, maybe not very clean.

The staff seems not to be bothered by providing good customer service, maybe not very careful with the hygiene measures whilst working, and they seemed a bit rude in approaching us and assisting us.

Also, the toilets are not working so not accessible.

Fast food but good. Tastes fresh. We went in-between lunch and dinner time around 4. It was quiet. We sat in. Enjoyed the meal. It was very nice to sit in the window with the view of the square, great for people watching if you are into that...

The only thing I found odd was the fridge the drinks were in wasn't on, the light wasn't in but I thought it might just not be working but still refrigerating, so without warning we were served room temp coke and iced tea and can of still water (i asked for a water, still or sparkling? she asked, definitely should have gone for tap...) my company didn't mind, they didn't want me to say anything, I just wanted to ask if they knew, but why wouldn't they... They are standing right...
