The food I had here ranged from good to excellent. We shared our food, so I got to try several different dishes, and there was not a single one that I disliked. This is unusual because there will usually be at least one thing I disliked, but here I liked everything I tried. Not to mention that the price was very reasonable (considering that it's Christmas Eve, the normal price is lower) for the amount of food we got, and considering how much I enjoyed my meal, I would consider it to be excellent value for money. Furthermore, the wait for food was short, especially considering how busy it was during our visit.

But what really pushed my experience here from good to great, was the wait staff. Our customer service experience was excellent. The staff were very attentive, polite, and prompt (despite how busy it was). I would love to name names in this review and mention who in particular impressed me, but for the life of me I cannot remember. I believe the man's name began with an S. Regardless, every member of staff that waited on our table was very good.

My only small complaint would be that the restaurant is a bit small for how busy it got. I would have liked it if there were more room, if the tables were a bit bigger, and spaced apart a bit further. Then again, I suppose some may like it this way for the atmosphere it can cultivate. Even I didn't necessarily hate it, especially considering the occasion. But for my usual meals, I tend to prefer a calmer, and if possible more secluded, dining experience. However this is only a minor complaint, and it didn't detract from my enjoyment overall.

I would certainly recommend giving Achari a try. I will definitely be coming again; I hope that it will continue to impress me in...

First of all if you are a Taste card customer and thinking of going to this place then don't even bother. They are very manipulative of what you order and will literally force you to go with a dish that you don't even want to try. I don't mind suggestions but when the waiter wrote the dish down on his order slip I was taken a bit back. Was too hungry to even bother, so left it at that.

Anyways he took our order and after that told him we had a taste card. He paused for like 2 minutes, rethinking his strategy and said we will have to order starters aswell. Which was fine and we asked for the menu again to which he then insisted not to worry and he will adjust it into the bill. Again very manipulative and literally made up our order.

I sat their wondering how is the food going to turn out. To my disbelief the food was good and would have been enough to forget the manipulative behavior shown by the waiter on taking the order. However, when the bill came out he gave us one dish free and my wife noticed that he had bumped up the price of other dishes to make out the price of the dish he gave us free. All in all, there was no use of a taste card. Bumping up price while thinking the customer wont notice is an absolute shame and disgusting. The bill wasn't too much and I didn't want to make a big scene at the restaurant as it was too late in the evening.

Also the hospitality is no good either, all of the staff disappear into the kitchen leaving you to wonder who is running the restaurant.

Anyways I am definitely never returning back to the restaurant and will be sharing my experience with Taste card of this...

I’ve visited here many times and always found the food and service good and recommended to people several times but after my experience today I won’t be going again. When we booked the table we informed them we had a Meerkat voucher (2 for 1) which you need a discount code for, which I brought with me. As soon as we walked through the door a man behind the bar demanded I show him the code before we sat down. I got the code up on my phone which I had previously screenshot earlier in the day so it was easily accessible when they needed it but the man with a very smug face started to shake his head at me telling me they don’t accept screenshots, I then said no problem I can go into the app and show you there if needed, which I did. He then took my phone off me and asked for my name to check it matched. I have never had this experience anywhere else using this code, it made me feel like I was doing something wrong. The restaurant sign up to take part in the meerkat scheme and that’s what brought my custom to them, I wouldn’t mind but the attitude that he had thinking he had caught me out shocked me. We then sat and ordered mains, 3 different curries and all tasted and looked exactly the same when they were supposed to be different. I’ve seen other reviews also say this. All were swimming with oil and not very nice. With my previous experience with the waiter, I didn’t want to make a scene so we ate what was edible and just left. Wouldn’t recommend to anyone again and I will not be returning. Seems to have gone way down hill and that particular waiter needs to chill out, driving...

Well, originally from India, I would give the food typically 1 star. The waiting time was too long understandable due to holidays but the food service time took long too. The starters were okay, and the chicken and the lamb were actually smelling and very chewy. I couldn't even finish my own. The main course I ordered was chicken Karahi an trust me I feared before entering the restaurant if I wouldn't get that authentic indian taste because I have had bad experiences in other restaurants too and the same happened. I didn't like it at all. It wasn't Indian-ish at all. We couldn't finish anything at all. Anyway, the atmosphere was good. Thanks.

Very busy place on a Saturday night. Good food, but not the best I've had, but great service. Friendly waiters. Both our main courses were overly sweet, I had the Paneer Tikka Masala, and my partner had the prawn Pasanda. We both left some as they were so sweet. The Tarka Dhal, onion bargee's, rice and naan were all good, but again I've eaten better. Last time we went about 12 months ago, the food was much better, maybe the chef's changed.

Interesting place, good decor, staff attentive and look professional (albeit one waiter looked dishevelled) in particular the young guy n gal on duty. Unusual location but seems to get full quickly. Food not too bad, not much meat and hints of green food dye rice 🍚, it’s the second Indian restaurant I’ve come across that has green rice, very unusual. 160 for 5 people not too bad (prices seem to be inline with other similar restaurants).
