Staff were absolutely lovely. All of them. They made an effort and tried their best but service was all over the place and there seemed to be very little organisation in place or maybe it was due to lack of communication between the staff. For the price I paid, I expected a better experience. Restaurant looked great, the bathroom looked nice and was clean. Loved the vibe. Got told the kitchen was out of a number of things well after ordering them. Cutlery, food or water were being given late or had been forgotten about. Some cutlery were dirty unfortunately and the table became very cluttered once the food came. Unused plates and glasses should have been cleared from the table as the food came out. These were just some of the little issues we came across. Asked for all the food to come together but one person had received their dishes 15 minutes before everyone else and some were still waiting on items well after everyone started to eat. Steak was lovely. Surprisingly still quite rare after being sent back. Massive portion, although some of it has disappeared when it came back from the kitchen. Lol. Baby potatoes were bang on. Didn’t receive veg at all as they told me they were out but I nicked some coleslaw from my sister (times were hard). Got free dessert as we felt the service was quite bad. The brownie was banging. Loved the Palestinian mocktail display, I know they must do that display many times during the day but one young lady looked like she’d rather be anywhere but there. Haha. The young man did a brilliant job. Loved the positive vibe and happy look on his face. Really made our evening. I’m not bothered about the fact that it’s an Eat Meat like the one in Manchester. At the end of the day, when you’re paying over £40 per meal, you expect to enjoy your meal without having to deal with so many little problems. That’s probably what ruined the experience a bit. There were just too many little problems. I don’t expect everything to be perfect because we’re all human at the end of the day, but if you’re charging so much per meal then hire more experienced staff rather than a bunch of teenagers or people who don’t understand English well. They were all really lovely however and I know they tried their very best. They’re probably the main reason for me giving as many stars as I did. Still debating if I would go again. Maybe if someone else was paying. Lol.

Came here early Feb, been meaning to leave a review.... Absolutely amazing experience and all food was fresh and gooood. Pictures do not do justice to the experience. Previously always been (every month) to EatMeat in Manchester. This one is a bit closer to home so after it opened, figured I should try it out. For starters, I got the lamb chops, the chicken, and the ribs. Starting with the chicken, cooked to perfection - chicken was tender, and not dry as I find in many other restaurants where they overcook it. The lamb chops were cooked also done proper, came off the bone very easily and the flavour was great. The ribs were okay, I'm not the biggest fan of fat but still went for it. Enjoyed it but didn't finish this one. On to the mains - I ordered the steak - Argentinian fillet with peppercorn sauce and a side of mash. As with the other store they bring it medium and you can cook it more on the hot plate if you feel like. (Personally I think if you cook it more, you're an enemy of flavour as cooking it more dries it up and makes it less flavoursome - to each their own i guess). Their peppercorn sauce that comes with is on point, way better than any other halal steakhouse I've been to (though I guess the same as the Manchester store). The mash was great, I always say it requires a special ability to mess up making mash, which did not happen here. Tasted good. Had a bit of baclava for dessert, not much of a sweet tooth, so my brother ate the rest instead and said he enjoyed it. Been a while since I had wagyu, so will be back here in March to eat the wagyu and leave another review on that. Will be able to compare to the wagyu in the Manchester store when I last had. Defo need a fix of that so will be back!

I question the veracity of the negative reviews that have been posted. We went to EatMeat on Saturday 11th January and had no issues finding parking (there is a parking lot down a side street across the road). We had a reservation and were immediately seated. The atmosphere was welcoming and the staff were prompt and pleasant. We ordered the dynamite prawns and the bbq ribs. The prawns had a nice kick and were nicely battered, whilst the ribs were tender and quite flavourful. The staff also gave us a complimentary order of the lamb cutlets which were cooked to perfection. For mains I had the 54oz Tomahawk steak and the rest of our party had the cannon of lamb. I made it explicitly clear I wanted my steak cooked rare and needed no hot stone and the staff delivered. The steak was cooked to a perfect rare, was well seasoned and melted in my mouth. The photos don’t do it justice, as I had already finished half of it. The rest of our party really enjoyed the lamb. One thing I will disclaimer, is that if you are intolerant to spice, most of the food does some with spices that you may find spicy. My partner has a fairly “meats and potatoes” palate, so found most items spicy but still thoroughly enjoyed them. I didn’t find the food spicy, but everyone handles spice differently. We were given complimentary desserts and I’d highly recommend the Baklava and French toast. There is no shying away from the food being on the pricier side, but you get what you pay for. Overall the experience was enjoyable, the food was delicious, and we’ll definitely be back.

ABSOULUTELY LOWEST AND POOR DISGUSTING CUSTOMER SERVICE !!

Got seated immediately as already pre booked table and time

Waited 10-15 minutes for anyone to come and take our order until I asked a waiter

Ordered our starters, mains and Drinks and the starters came after 15 mins: Still no sign of any drinks although asked several waiters 4-5 times, finished starters and still no drinks on the table and this is now 25 mins since ordering and 15 mins after finished starters

Drinks finally came but my wife noticed that the drinks had been given to the table behind us and have been there for about 10 mins and all the female waittress done was take the drinks from there and broght them to our table which we refused and asked for fresh drinks (Mijitos) to be made to which at this point I was very furious and called to speak to manager and he came and he apologised and fresh drinks were then brought to the table and this took nearly 30 mins from ordering

Food came as we ordered Lamb Steak and Wagyu Steak and must admit the food was amazing 10/10 but we tried not to spoil our mood further and carried on with our food

We then asked for the Bill and one of the waiters came and offered us desserts on the house to which I refused but my wife fancied Baklava with ice cream

The young female waitress came with the card machine but no bill and just told us the amount and without thinking i paid the full amount which was approximately £152. once she went away i called her back and asked for the receipt and noticed they has charged me 10% Discretionary Service charge and was not asked to pay this and was just slapped on to my bill as it was not compulsory and I was even more furious than ever !!

We was still waiting for the dessert for about 15 minutes to which we were getting very agitated as we had go and pick our son and was getting late and the weather was quite bad that evening and still no sign of dessert so we got up from the table and went to the manager and said the dessert is awaiting and can be packed away and taken home and we agreed top which he brings a standard cheesecake which was in a plate !!

I spoke to the manager in the end and explained the events that took place and he said he had already apologised for the delay but did not take me seriously when I asked how many customers do you cheat slapping on the service charge without asking them!!

I then asked to speak to the owner to which he replied he is the owner !!

I understand it was a Saturday evening and it was quite busy but I have been several times on Saturday to the Manchester branch but no where near as bad as this !! I do not recommend this place at all and feel we have been fobbed off and our poor experience not...

IF YOU ARE THINKING OF EATING HERE EITHER GO TO THE ONE IN Manchester OR SKIP AND GO TO ANY OTHER RESTAURANT IN BOLTON.

"Come for the steak, stay for the arguments — £90 for the privilege of going home hungry!"

This review is one for the owners and managers. Tonight was an absolutely terrible experience. Genuinely the worst restaurant dining experience I've had in my life. After we were waiting for approximately an hour to be seated as we watched people with larger group sizes be seated beforehand WITH NO BOOKING JUST LIKE US (e.g. we had 3 adults and 2 kids under the age of 4, yet a group of 4 adults were sat before us).

Walked in at 6.15, sat down for 6.55. Our order was placed at 7.10 to be told it will be 20 minutes, then was served first dish at 7.55 with the rest coming in 5 minute intervals despite the waiter clearly asking and us confirming that we would like it all served together so in essence each person was eating ALONE - what a great dining experience. Walked out at 8.30pm having not eaten, after one manager (Mo) apologised while laughing and not making any amends in order to get the order out quicker, then the next manager thought it wise to make a convoluted argument with us for 20 minutes mid eating to completely put us off our food. His argument as to why we weren't offered seating on the other side of the restaurant was due to and I quote ' no suitable table to place a high chair' but we were seated on a table which was on a raised platform where the high chair would not reach the table - the child was higher up sitting on the . His sexist argument was the mother should sit on the end of the table and feed the child. third manager slightly ABIT more sincere did offer to make amends but when we told him we were out off eating and he saw we had left majority of the food untouched he still billed us a £90 bill for untouched food.

SUMMARY: entered 6.15, left 8.30 3 arguments later: £90 bill, and everyone hungry haven't not eaten. What...
