Friendship ended with Klubb, now Costa is my best friend. The staff were lovely, absolutely amazing, aside from one. The manager was a stiff. But he is a manager what can you do, sorry for the staff at Klubb. Good day to all of them except you, I don't know your name but... you are rather negative. This is not a review of the staff for they have 5 stars, you manager however do not, you get... 1 star. Good day. Thanks the happy memories, aside from one.
Edit: This is a direct response to the owner since I cannot respond directly. I would like to make it clear that I had made a purchase and several purchases before that. We were of no issue and no nuisance, we caused no harm to you or your business as we had purchased and advertised the cafe on multiple occasions, I spent alot of money at Klubb and felt like when it is stated that we brought food bought elsewhere, we were not buying from competing locations, much apologies that I cannot spend around £10 for a coffee and a sandwich of which is also somewhat low. Again I was not singling out any staff aside from the manager who seems to be the only unpleasant individual working there, just as many reviews I have read suggest. So to get removed for daring to eat a £2.50 at most tuna sandwich because I cannot afford to pay nearly £5 for a sandwich nevermind not having any measures in place to lower the cost for those who may struggle to pay these expenses such as college students. Again the staff are lovely and I have no issues with them, we have nothing but decent and kindly as they have been to us. Such apologies for eating foreign food at your rather expensive establishment despite purchasing many items in the past and even items the very day we were removed. I can understand that you are a business and money is more important than anything else but please, you can suffer a small loss, we did not enter with a banquet of food, we simply at a sandwich at worst and had some fine (yet expensive) beverages with it. We did not argue when asked to leave and we did as soon as we could, we did not want to cause issues and would continue to visit the cafe and bring revenue for many more months, maybe even years but your blatant disregard for the economical issues of your customers who want to buy the food but can't, yet still buy a drink anyway because the Cafe is a joyous environment is telling. And again I did not single out any of your brilliant staff, I was singling out the owner...
Read moreDreadful customer service experience today. Arrived with my young son and purchased a flat white, carrot cake and orange juice. We took a seat outside whilst the flat white was being prepared and my son decided to take a bite from a sausage roll he had in his bag from the local independent bakery in the market place. As I came back to the counter to collect my drinks and Cake I was rudely told you cant eat food from outside here !
I was shocked at the lack of any customer service and rude abrupt nature of the member of staff in glasses serving. I said he is a child taking a bite from a sausage roll we had purchased earlier in the day to which I was starred at and the staff member in glasses disappeared in the back so I was let at the counter totally confused ....after a few minutes another male member of staff appeared and with the same complete lack of any customer service just repeated you can eat food here not purchased from the cafe, to which I explained that he is a child taking one bite from a sausage roll.
By this time the flat white, cake and orange juice had been placed on the counter and I just said I will have a refund then as I had not touched any of the items purchased as completely shocked by the experience and we didn't want to stay as my son was getting upset. The male employee then told me that I was not entitled to a refund as they had made the drink !!!
I had honestly had enough and just left the premises as my son was getting upset.
Shocking customer experience after a young child takes a bite from a sausage roll... will not return as sadly customers are...
Read moreHad a relatively pricey shake here (£4.80). Apparently there’s a 50p charge for coconut milk. That in itself was not a big deal. When the coffee shake was made, there was quite a lot of coffee shake left in the shaker. I asked the member of staff whether she’s throwing the rest away and if so, can I have it anyway? Apparently she has to throw it away, it’s the rules. Ok, whatever, but the issue was that my shake really didn’t taste of very much… I definitely couldn’t taste the pistachio. I guess the reason there was so much left was that a lot of ice was used and it got watered down. In hindsight I should have taken it back, but to be honest, I was thirsty and also there for a nice coffee out with my friends. I want to enjoy their company, not waste my time complaining about a...
