Well yet again. Starbucks Manchester rd Bolton, Hey there everyone. Just to inform people especially disabled people who use a mobility scooter to get around like myself. To not bother going threw the drive threw as you will be told you can't use the drive threw and they refuse to serve you if you do. Also you can't go inside the place neither with you mobility scooter you have to leave it outside, when I explained I have had my leg amputated and can't walk, I get told to ask someone else to come in for me. I suffer emphysema and suffering terribly with anxiety and panic attacks and a whole lot of other things and it may sound like a small tiny crisis to most people but to people suffering from any kind of trauma no matter how big or small it's a crisis to that person and a crisis is a crisis and yeah Im still upset about this kind of treatment as Starbucks are not the only large company that I've had this kind of treatment and if they can be this heartless to people in my predicament I wonder what there like with other customers? So people your better of buying the old butty box and flask, less hassle more food Coffey tea or whatever hydrater you require a sneaky snack bar , hell of a lot cheaper bish bash...
Read moreI've ordered from here a few times and often found the staff to be indifferent and not very friendly. The coffee is nice in frappes but simple lattes don't taste nice at all, unless there is a syrup in it.
The last time I ordered in with my mum and baby. The high chair had sticky residue on it and it was filthy (cleanest one I could find). The dirt was visible on the multiple baby wipes I used to clean it. A staff member had been watching me and was giving me a 'death stare'. She then said something to a colleague, whilst staring at me.
This colleague laughed and proceeded to stare at me too. It was extremely uncomfortable, which I presume was their agenda and highly unprofessional. In hindsight, I should have complained or spoken to them, but I was so angry that I couldn't be sure I would remain calm in my communication.
The high chairs should be part of their cleaning rota, especially post-covid and that high chair had not been cleaned in a substantial amount of time. Disgusting service, appalling behaviour and zero customer service skills. I have not been back since and will not be back in a hurry. I would recommend people try the drive thru costa where the staff are personable, friendly and the...
Read moreVisited today at 8am to eat in. Drive-through already had a long queue. 2 staff at counter; the girl dealing with both the drive-through window and the counter ignored me for several minutes, but Siobhan, who was preparing drinks took my order and was very pleasant and polite. Siobhan said would I mind a takeaway cup as the dishwasher was out of order. Main door and some windows boarded up so side entrance was being used. Tables next to boarded up window were unusable as it was so cold there. Coffee and croissant were fine, a little overpriced (but that's expected!) but tables and seats were generally a bit shabby. Obviously dishwasher and window problems ongoing for weeks now according to other reviews. Just overall a bit depressing and not as good an experience as Starbucks should be. They could do so much better than this. Fix the window, the dishwasher, have more staff available, better furniture, plug/charging...
