Lovely, welcoming restaurant with very sweet staff, but unfortunately the incredibly slow service and average food were a disappointment.
My party had pre-booked for about 12 people. Some had a fixed menu, others had starters, some only mains. We arrived at 6:30pm, orders were taken before 7pm, and main courses didn’t arrive until around 8:30-8:45pm. For those who didn’t have a starter, they waited 2 hours to eat anything!
We had to ask for napkins and cutlery for the main course - they of course came with a smile but we shouldn’t have needed to ask.
I ordered one glass of wine to have with dinner but hardly touched it because of the lack of food - I didn’t want to get drink as I was driving.
My starter of Thai fishcakes was presented beautifully but were a little rubbery. The prawn pad Thai seemed to be coated in a sweet & sour sauce and wasn’t at all authentic. But I ate it all as I was ravenous.
We weren’t offered desserts or coffees and I wouldn’t have taken one at such a late hour anyway. Had things moved at a more acceptable pace I’d probably have ordered both.
I’ve given 3 stars because it’s m a nice little restaurant with lovely staff, but unfortunately, for the reasons stated (average and inauthentic food, inept and slow service) I wouldn’t recommend it and am...
Read moreafew friends and i came to this restaurant for a meal earlier tonight. The first waitress could not tell my boyfriend if a certain meal was peanut free which lead to another waitress serving us. he then asked for the meal to be altered( no sauces etc) this is because he is autistic which i believe is nothing to be ashamed of. the waitress clearly judged my boyfriend and finished getting everyone’s orders in. when the food had arrived, i had ordered rice as i wasn’t overly hungry which she then judged me for. my boyfriends meal came out and the waitress make a comment on the food being plain to which my boyfriend said he has autism, and the waitress replies with “ yes i can tell” which left my boyfriend feeling terribly humiliated and very upset. i do not think this is how a waitress should act, or anyone for that matter. if someone cannot understand the needs of someone, they should certainly not be working round members of the public. nobody should be judged for having an additional need of any sort. would not be...
Read moreWe had a family dinner at this restaurant during our first visit to the Lytham area. After seeing good reviews on Google, we decided to give it a try. We were not disappointed at all. All the food served was top quality with great flavours.
The service was brilliant, and our server Jasmine was absolutely fantastic, serving with a smile and making us feel at home. This restaurant will definitely be in our top three Thai restaurants list in England (of the ones we have visited). We will definitely...
