McDonald's — Restaurant in Borough of Spelthorne

To be fair, I did come in around 4 ish in the morning. However, firstly, when I originally went the ordering machines were not working. I asked a staff member and they said to wait so I did. They however did not notify me when it was up and running again and I only knew when I saw someone else order. Then, when I ordered and the machine did not give me a receipt and I wanted to pay in cash, I asked a staff member about it and they told me again that the system was updating and to wait 5 minutes. I waited for more than 20 minutes and then asked a different staff member, this staff member seemed to know what he was doing and got a manager who processed my order very quickly, which is the reason the review is more than 2 stars, the other reason for the 3 stars is because the food was decent. I really enjoyed the chilli cheeseburger and I hope it stays on the menu. Overall I enjoy McDonald’s as a whole but this experience was quite irritating. Also the icecream/milkshake machine was not working.

Went there on Boxing Day, sign said open at 6.00am but by 6.45am we were still locked out. Staff inside totally blanked those of us who were waiting. Manager arrived shortly after and explained that the key had snapped in the lock and staff could not open up (although they did when he arrived)?

Given that it only took a few minutes to get us in and sort out some food one wonders why: 1-the staff could not have explained to those waiting what was happening; 2-why someone could not have opened the door from the inside (like they did when boss arrived)to let those freezing outside in, to wait in the warm; 3-why the boss did not, at the very least, give those of us, who had waited a hot drink when we eventually got in?

I have to say that the way this minor issue was handled was very poor. The staff did not seem to care about those stuck outside, the manager only a little more so.

I go to this outlet quite often, it is a million times better than the newly refurbished freezing cold hell hole in the town centre. That said, this incident reveals a definite need for additional staff and management training.

Very very rude. Two staff in this branch was very rude. I asked about 1 missing item that was 1 garlic mayo. The woman there said that I am sure and check again your bag. I back to my car and check the bag even in car but I couldn't find anything. Again back to her and I said that no garlic mayo the she said You are lie and ask her manager. He comes and told me you seat in your car until we check the camera. 15 minutes passed and anybody didn't came and I back to restaurant to see the result of camera check. In this time also instead that they accept their mistake and apologise they bring another order and said we put the mayo. I asked them this is not mine and show the camera check for my order. I became very sad and angry because they lost about 30 minutes of my time, the food became cold and insult me and accused me lier for 50 pence mayo.
