Crumbs — Restaurant in Boston

We stopped into town trying to find a place for a good English breakfast as we were new to the town after visiting for a funeral the day before. We went in this establishment and at first glance it looks nice and cosy, a place to relax and enjoy a nice eating experience. So, first we went in and there was a table just being cleared and we sat down and one of the girls said she would come and clean the table before serving the breakfast…. We waited, and waited and I had enough of waiting I had to asked another employee if she could clean the table. She apologised and came over. I give this review because the breakfast ordered wasn’t what came:

Eggs - over done Sausage requested wasn’t what actually came (Even though the young girl said it would be provided. Customer Service was below standard. My son ordered a cheese burger which he had to throw away. No one came over to ask if everything was ok, we was just left to it. I come to Boston for my grandparents care BUT I WOULD NEVER GO BACK THERE AGAIN. Based on their service and experience they need to treat every customer with the same respect.

PS: I go to different establishments and review their performance and hygiene.

This one would never make the list. Needs new management, cook or just closed...

Gone right downhill, thought this was one of the best places to go in town.

every item on the plate undercooked, bacon looked like cold ham, nothing hot or even warm, best thing about it was the first cup of tea. 🤦🏼‍♂️

Edited after reply: I never say anything about the food while in any restaurant, I will leave a review after and not go in there again, I am generally a happy person, but left in a hurry,...

Called in here a few times in the past and it’s been good, but today was the exception! We only wanted a couple of sandwiches and a brew, whilst the brew came out rapid the 2 sandwiches took around 30 minutes from ordering, nothing tricky just a Tuna Mayo (dry bread and margarine!) and a BLT (bacon overdone, ie: cardboard!) sorry, but it really...
