Well where do I start. Should be called Badbarns yard. Ordered a surf and turf, asked for the steak rare and came well done and ordered mix grill, requesting the steak medium rare and the steak was steak was well done. The sausage was solid. If I had stood on it, it would have added an inch to my height. The chips were undercooked and crunchy in places. It's the first time I've ordered a steak/ grill dish and been given butter knifes when you needed anything but. A machete would have been ideal as the meat was tough as boots. I genuinely have no idea how this establishment is rated 4.5 stars with 700+ reviews as I think I'd have been more satisfied with a Weatherspoons, McDonald's or even a Tesco meal deal. I was very disappointed when we didn't get any apologies when paying for the bill which was unfortunately full with no discount considering everything was wrong. Overcooked meet, undercooked chips, wrong cutlery etc. Will not be making a return and would suggest anyone considering coming here makes a meal themselves as there will save money and be much more satisfied. Very...

I understand there can be supply issues but you could at least tell me ? She offered to change my food but I would have to pay for another meal, so not good really.
My wife’s lasagna was a mushy, microwaved, burnt messed and had no flavour at all, just been blasted in a microwave.
My bill came to £60 which is twice the amount of normal but for that I expected high quality food and...
Read moreWith not being from the local area we decided to search places to eat for the last night of our fishing holiday and this looked OK.
There was 6 of us in out group, we walked in and the bar is right in front of the door more or less, we started to order drinks, we asked about food and got a snappy reply of "have you booked" we said no we didn't know we needed to, we was told we could eat in the bar which was fine. Some of our party had gone to the toilets which is at the back of the restaurant and over heard comments from staff saying "we're not having this" and from other diner's saying "well these are not locals" lets get one thing straight, 6 English blokes in an English pub when 3/4 of Boston is immigrants then yes we are more local! Bad atmosphere...
