Swojskie Jadło — Restaurant in Boston

We were initially excited to visit this Polish restaurant due to its great reviews and high rating. When we arrived, the place wasn’t crowded, there were just a few groups seated inside and an empty outdoor area. We had no trouble finding a table, which made us hopeful for a relaxed and enjoyable meal.

Unfortunately, our experience was quite the opposite.

We placed our order quickly, but then waited over 40 minutes without receiving any food. Meanwhile, other tables who arrived after us were served before us.

When we asked the waiter how much longer it would take, he responded harshly: “We are very busy. Just 5 minutes.” Ten minutes later, still nothing. We decided to leave and asked to pay only for our drinks. Instead of an apology, the waiter was incredibly rude and sarcastically told us to go to McDonald’s if we wanted fast service.

The outdoor area was also dirty and poorly maintained, which made the experience even worse.

Good reviews or not, we were treated with disrespect and left feeling frustrated. Unfortunately, we won’t be coming back, and we wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone who expects decent service and...

A brilliant little restaurant, decorated exactly the same as you would find a Cafe/restaurant in Poland. As for the food, NEVER had a poor meal in the 2 years we've been going !! We use most Sundays, always a list of specials with cracking dishes on the main menu, consisting mainly of Pork and chicken.
