😡😡 Shocking customer service... don’t waste your hard earned money at this poor standard takeaway. 😡😡

We order to the workplace and quite regularly (every 1/2 months at £35-60+), we have received good food a lot of times but late last year we got an order (cost £68) which arrived late, cold and missing items. This bad order was compensated with £30 credit which was honoured. We had a good few orders after that which were good however the review relates to our most recent order on the 02/06/19...

The food was pre-ordered about 2-3 hrs before needed, it arrived 35 mins late, no apology was offered by the delivery driver who instead insisted that I owed him delivery money which was already paid for in the order! I challenged this and he backed off and went.

Next issue, I ordered a chicken burger with mayo and mustard and it arrived with mint sauce 🤦🏻‍♂️🤮....

Two garlic bread’s which were cold. Two donor wraps which were greasy and inedible, some chicken skin with a chicken donor.

I phoned Topkapi and I discussed the issues, not once was an apology offered for delays or mistakes and all they say is “It’s been busy”. I do appreciate that on a Saturday night in which the champions league final and boxing was taking place it would be busy however the mistakes here were not recognised by Topkapi, the best part is that the owner came to deliver it so the person asking for extra money either doesn’t know his own business or is trying to get extra money!

The gentleman on the phone insisted I ring back so he can talk to his boss. I rang back, he said he would pass the boss on, however the boss wouldn’t come to the phone and I could hear him moaning in the background. I asked what he said, apparently he said he wouldn’t refund me for the mistakes with the burger, we requested too much compensation and that we should not order again.

Well done Topkapi. How not to run a business. Customer service not existent and you have lost out on lots of custom in the future.

Ordered 2 pizzas and chips and cheese, one of the pizzas was wrong and chips was missing, rang they said they would sort it! Got the right pizza when they turned up again after an hour of waiting, but still not any chips and cheese! Rang again, and was told I didn’t order them, after telling them I have an email proving I ordered them they told me that they would refund me the money for the chips, I told them I was not happy as I wanted my food and asked if they could send some out, they told me that because they was busy I wasn’t getting them and they would ring just eat and tell them to refund me the money for the chips, I asked if I could be refunded all of my money for the food for inconvenience and they told me if I was to send the food back they would refund me and then proceeded to put the phone down! Very poor service!! To busy to make a simple chips and cheese but not to busy to ring just eat!! Serious let down by this place as we order a lot from here!...

ABSOLUTELY AWFUL PLACE DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE!!!! If I could give less than 1 star I would. I ordered food from the restaurant after waiting OVER 3 AND A HALF HOURS the food never arrived and gave up. After they missed the first delivery time it showed as delivered on the just eat app, after chasing it up it got changed and had a new delivery time. Still no food by the second delivery time (which was 2 hours 17 minutes after placing the order) and never got my food. Me and my partner tried numerous times to ring the shop and no answer. Just eat investigated and the shop lied to them and said they had delivered the food, have no respect for customers and do not care about them at all. I never got my money back so If you want to just give your money away to a shop for nothing in return this is the place for you, if you actually want to eat, go...
