Curry House — Restaurant in Bradford

I visited this place for the first time last night. Curries are my favourite food and my asian colleagues often joke that "I eat curries more than them". I have to say I felt quite let down and I can confidently say I won't be re-visiting.

𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐞𝐫: For starters, I had a portion of Seekh Kebabs accompanied by salad and mint and yoghurt sauce. This starter (aside from the salad) was sweet, which I haven't experienced before. I also found the kebab quite grainy, as if it had added protein in. The sauce was also sweet.

𝐌𝐚𝐢𝐧: For the main, I ordered Chicken Saag, Asian Style. I knew it would be spicy, that's fine. Aside from that I found that the curry lacked in flavour and the 'kick' was very strong, that was the only flavour I grasped from this meal. I also had chapattis which were okay, but I've had better.

𝐒𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐢𝐜𝐞: The staff were very friendly and the room was small enough that they were all available should you need assistance. What I did find was that when we had drinks, it took us a while to get their attention to order food as they were busy clearing plates and such.

There was Highchairs Booked, when you told my wife and kids to move and she got my youngest boy because he was crying, she took him out of the high chair and you took it off her when she needed it, some service and you didnt even help to move anything You still didnt show the CCTV but hid behimd the bar trying to talk, you wasnt even making sense stuttering away diverting the topic, then the guy with the beard getting involved shouting “irrelevant” i told him it was relevant, then he shutup and did his waitering, when i was giving you it you said lets go check CCTV and when we went inside you hit a straight left and started diverting the topic, i pulled my hand out and told you shake my hand look me in the eyes thats what happened on your side, no1 apologised, show me the cctv footage that you didnt want me to see on how “ good your service is” Lol Why didnt you want show the CCTV? You know you was wrong and your service, making my family wait and wait thinking they was going to order drinks but no one even ordered them, i know your tactics, when face to face you was stuttering coulndnt even look me in...

Overall disappointing! This was our first time from this restaurant and ordered for delivery. The service was excellent and the price as expected for our area. The food however was disappointing. The starters were great, I got a mixed grill starter and my wife a chicken pakora. The main was terrible, we both ordered Chicken Bhuna which is supposed to be a thicker dry sauce of medium spice, unfortunately we both got very runny dishes, swimming in oil (see photo) with no flavour at all. Probably the blandest curries we have ever had. It was almost like they had forgotten to put the spices in at all.
