Really want to like this place as it's local, in a great location and has struggled to get back on its feet after the floods a couple of years ago. Unfortunately when we visited at the weekend, the food range was limited (sandwiches and panini), there was no card machine, we were only 4th in the queue but it took ages to get served and the food took even longer to arrive. This was early November so not nearly as busy as the height of summer. We waited so long that we had to enquire what had happened to our food, and then had to chase again for our drinks. When they finally arrived. we were underwhelmed. ÂŁ5 for a basic panini. Some of this may have been due to staff shortages, but the poor menu, overpriced food and lack of card machine are regular fixtures. Unfortunately I don't think we'll be returning for a while.

First time customers. Nice setup but they wanted me to serve a latte that was already sitting by the side. When I politely questioned that, they became agitated and made me a fresh latte, pulling a face like they did me a favour: small ice cream and a latte for ÂŁ6. No apology. Pretty disappointed.

What a lovely welcome . Very pleasant staff. A varied menu to delight every taste. I chose the feta with mixed peppers in a brown baguette . It was served with a salad garnish & home made coleslaw. Yummylicious 😋 is the only word to describe it. Good value . I'll definitely be back.

We arrived at 4:35, with our child who needed his nappy changing, we went to the toilet and the woman cleaning was very reluctant to let us in because she’d been trying to clean it since half past (5 minutes), to which we replied my son needed his nappy changing, she let us in and then walked to the window and spoke to her colleagues ,the words which came out were “Next person to ask me if they can use the toilet, Im going to ask them how they’d like it if I came to their work when they were closing and asked to use the toilet” to which I didn’t agree with it was said purposefully loud enough for us to hear, I argued & she said “we’ve been here since half past 7 this morning” they close at 5 advertised on Google, if that is wrong change it, but I believe 25 minutes is a enough to let someone change their child’s nappie and clean it before you close, this isn’t the first time this has happened, it was the same with my 5 year old sister in law a month or 2 ago, how can you deny a child the toilet, when you’ve kids...

Ordered vegan ice cream as nephew has milk allergy. Asked them to confirm it was vegan ice cream to which I was told it was. Then went back in 5 mins later and asked them again "is this definitely vegan ice cream" to which I was told again it was. After the nephew has ate around half of it, one of the waitresses came out with another tub as the one she originally gave me wasn't vegan, after confirming it was 3 times prior. Extremely poor communication and now my nephew is poorly due to this. All we got was "oh sorry". I think you need to retrain your staff on allergens clearly. Will never be...
