What can I say about this restaurant. The experience from start to finish was horrific. Being someone who cooks from home a lot and eats out quite a bit too I expect decent quality food. I ordered the chickaroos kebabish and so did my husband and then a naga smash on the side to share and chicken nuggets and chips for my son. When the food came out they only made one kebabish and gave that to me and gave the burger to my husband. Mind you it wasn’t even busy so why would you read an order incorrectly. The next mistake was when they sent out 2 chicken nugget and chips meals and were adamant we ordered them LOL. When the kebabish came which is apparently very popular it was more or less stone cold. The chicken nuggets for my son and the donner were stone cold. I like my food piping hot and this was appalling. I couldn’t even chew it as all of the meat we had on our table was rubbery. I would like to know behind that kitchen whether their donner meat is from fresh donner or frozen from a freezer because the donner tasted like the chicken nuggets did and had the same consistency. I then noticed the donner was extremely sweet which made me feel ill so I tried my best to chew it so as to not make a scene. However the manager came up to us I think he may be the owner and asked if all was okay. I then said no and told him my concerns so he did make an effort to remove my plate and get them to make me a fresh one. When the plate came out a second time it was again stone cold within 2 mins of hitting the table which assured me it was not fresh at all. Disgusting standards for a new restaurant that isn’t even busy. Lastly when we went to pay they had the audacity to charge us for 2 Chickaroo kebabish meals when we had only received the one! So I had to tell them that we only received one and there’s no way I’m paying for 2 so you need to take that off - if the waiters - which there were so many of them mind you - were a little alert rather than chatting and acting like it’s a playground they would have noticed we only received one kebabish and burger meal in the first place. But considering nobody noticed I didn’t flag it as it was disgusting anyway. Overall the experience minus 1 food minus 10 defo frozen food that’s being cooked. Read moreI don’t usually leave reviews, but my experience with this takeaway was so frustrating and unacceptable that I feel the public needs to be warned.
We placed our order and were told to wait 30 minutes before coming to collect it. Fair enough. We waited the full 30 minutes at home, then made our way to the restaurant expecting to quickly collect our food and leave. Instead, I ended up waiting another 1 hour and 10 minutes inside the restaurant. That’s a total of over 1 hour and 40 minutes from placing the order to receiving any food — completely unacceptable for a takeaway service.
Even worse, when I got home and opened the bags, I discovered that half of the order was missing. Not just a small item, but a significant portion of the food. I had to return to the restaurant again, which added more time and frustration to an already terrible experience.
When I arrived and explained the situation, the staff seemed confused and unhelpful. They didn’t seem to know what was missing or how to handle the issue. I had to argue and push for them to understand that I hadn’t received everything I paid for.
Eventually, they gave me the rest of my order — but despite all the mistakes, delays, and inconvenience, I was still charged full price. No apology, no discount, no accountability.
While I was waiting (again), I noticed several other customers becoming frustrated and even cancelling their orders. It was clear that I wasn’t the only one having a bad experience. The staff seemed overwhelmed, disorganised, and completely indifferent to the customer experience.
This place appears to have no respect for people’s time or money. They are happy to take your payment upfront but can’t deliver even the most basic level of service. If you’re thinking about ordering from here, I would seriously reconsider.

The starters took over 30 minutes to arrive, and when they finally did, they were incorrect. We had ordered chicken, but lamb was served instead. The menu was also confusing, displaying pictures of items that were not actually available.
Service was disorganized and careless. Staff members appeared inattentive, with some even wearing AirPods while working in the kitchen. There was little to no presence of waitstaff, and the food was handled with a lack of professionalism. Despite waiting an hour, the dishes we received were incorrect and poorly prepared. For example, the chicken on three burgers was both overcooked and overly spicy, and the nachos came topped with lamb instead of the expected ingredients. Additionally, the restaurant does not allow modifications to their dishes, which made the experience even more frustrating.
Overall, the environment felt unprofessional. The staff seemed undertrained and unprepared, moving slowly and without attention to detail. While the drinks were enjoyable, the overall dining experience was negative, and I cannot recommend this restaurant.
