An unforgettable dining experience – flavourful, fresh, and beautifully presented!

The food here is absolutely delicious. I truly can't recommend this restaurant enough. We started with the Hot Appetisers and Cold Appetisers, and both were packed with variety and great taste. The Hot selection featured plump king prawns, tender calamari, grilled halloumi, fried cheese parcels infused with herbs, Turkish sausage, and crispy falafel. The Cold Appetisers offered creamy hummus, tzatziki, Babaganoush and other fresh accompaniments — a perfect balance to the warm dishes.

A standout dish was the fried chicken livers — so good that even those in our group who usually steer clear were won over. We also ordered the lahmacun, which has always been my favorite starter, and it did not disappoint.

For mains, we shared chicken wings, a mixed grill, and a mixed fish kebab. The kids devoured the wings, while the adults made quick work of the grill and kebab — all served in generous portions that left everyone happy.

The drinks were equally impressive. We tried the virgin mojito, Turkish lemonade (a must-try — freshly made with lemon and mint), and a virgin strawberry daiquiri that tasted like summer in a glass, thanks to the use of real strawberries rather than artificial flavoring.

A fantastic meal all around — we'll definitely be...

Disappointed, we decided to try Turkish kitchen in brentwood. We could instantly tell they use very cheap cuts of lamb. The lamb was chewy, dry and over cooked. I am used to lamb being seasoned well and melt in the mouth tender at our usual place (Aspera Benfleet) Annoys me when places scrimp on quality putting a bad name on Turkish food. Note to the restaurant owners (use lamb neck fillet for your shish) your prices reflect good quality meat, please serve it.

Edit to your response.

I think you must be confusing us with another customer who may have complained about your tough meat. I have no issues eating food. My review was about the cheap and dry lamb you serve your customers, compared to my usual place who serve very tender juicy lamb which isn’t chewy whatsoever. I wouldn’t feed this lamb to my dog let alone my family. I can guarantee the lamb you serve your own family at home is far superior to the cuts of lamb you serve in this restaurant. Do the owners sample the...

My daughter and I visited on a Thursday late afternoon/ early evening just after shopping.

We were greeted at the door and as the place was empty we could choose our seats.

We were given complimentary pitta and dips. We ordered garlic mushrooms and whitebait for starters. The garlic sauce was AMAZING! The whitebait was cooked to perfection, crispy and very tasty too.

My daughter ordered the Sarma Lamb Beyti and I order the Lamb Ribs. Both dishes were very tasty and all dishes were great portions, we were absolutely stuffed.

I highly recommend visiting if you haven't already. Great atmosphere, lovely polite staff and awesome food. 👌

Revisited May 2024. For starters, we ordered calamari rings and scallops. For the mains, we ordered lamb chops and lamb ribs, and for dessert we had baclava and ice cream. Same quality service and...

Restaurant was empty due to it being mud afternoon on a Thurs. Great music was being played which I really enjoyed. Waiter was a tad serious for my liking but there's no judgement. Food really good. I was a little disappointed with my veggie moussaka. The taste was lovely but it just wasnt what I expected or wanted actually. It was covered in a tomato sauce all over and this isn't how moussaka is in my world so I found myself wishing I'd ordered kebab. That said the starters were beaut and my sisters chicken shish was fab. House red washed it all down nicely. Toilets clean and working, always a win! Great restaurant, I'd make a diff menu choice next time though
