New Lemongrass — Restaurant in Brentwood

The food is good but the staff can be a pain/rude. Recently after a 14hr shift and the night before a MSc Medical exam (I'm stressed) I went to collect a take away order at 21:30 having been a regular customer for YEARS. There was an issue with their till which wouldn't let them close my order so despite email confirmations that the order was ready and Lemongrass confirming that I had paid they would not give me the food (they won't cook the food until you pay). After 30 minutes of faffing when I decided to go find food elsewhere they were incredibly angry and rude to me because they would not be able to close my order meaning they would not be able to cash up that night. They refused to cancel the order, would not refund me not would they give me the food even though it was sat right in front of me (probably cold).

The first I noticed that there wasn’t clean and there was the dirty wall next to me.l as well. The second that the stuff wasn’t friendly wasn’t smile and had a bit bad attitude. I also came with a bed mood there because I had some problems in my mind. But the stuff should smile when the people coming and cheer them up. At least to give you smile. And even to talk a bit to cheer you up if you don’t smile coming to some place. So I didn’t get no smile, no short talk, wasn’t cheered up. We ordered from here a lot so we know the standards set but on Monday I ordered a take away and I could not believe it, food was definitely left overs from the day before, the crackers were stale, the cucumbers and duck were stale and dry, the rice was all hard on the top only as if it had been reheated… ABSOLUTELY VILE we spent over £400 here in a week but will never purchase food from here again after that absolutely disgusting!! 🤮 you need to consider making people sick esp pregnant women.
