Kingz yardy — Restaurant in Brentwood

Absolutely abysmal. We placed an order and was told 1h to 1h20 for delivery, and shortly after placing it was "out for delivery".

After 1h30 it still wasn't here, so we called and after finally getting through they said maximum 15 minutes. Half an hour later it still isn't here.

It's been over 2 hours since we ordered and we are still waiting. We've been trying for 20 minutes to call them and they won't answer.

This is a complete joke of a restaurant, do not order from them under any circumstances as they are absolutely atrocious and should go out of business.

If and when we receive our food it will be stone cold so we will be getting a full refund. We are not paying for this awful service.

EDIT: After spending 20 minutes trying to call them we were told that it'll be 15 minutes. Again. At 2h40, the food finally arrived.

Thankfully, it wasn't cold, but that's because it was dispatched 2 hours later than it was supposed to be.

However, to be called dishonest by the owner is a complete joke. Rather than blaming customers for angry reviews, maybe accept that it's because you have an...

So I notice that people are review bombing this restaurant so I'm going to be as fair as possible.

The delivery time was longer than expected, about 20, maybe 25 minutes late. I will excuse that as I didn't realise how far away the restaurant was. I do however wonder why the restaurant is accepting orders from so far away if it can't deliver it on time with the time slot Just Eat provides, but I don't know the full story of what it's like being a business owner on Just Eat.

The food itself was mixed. The loaded chips with the jerked chicken was 10/10, and the burger certainly wasn't bad either. A bit too much sauce for my liking so the whole burger was soggy but the meat was spot on. Milkshake was warm which was disappointing. The patties was a bit disappointing, not enough meat in them for me and the actual pastry or whatever it is was soggy. I imagine it happened in transit so again I can't fault the restaurant entirely.

2 out of 5 I think is fair. Late for delivery, some food was banging and some wasnt. I will try it again but maybe when I'm more local. Will update my review...

Terrible experience and terrible food from start to finish, rude, impolite, young staff who did not have a clue what they was doing or how to provide service. Ran out of numerous items on the menu, which they wasn’t informative of at the time of ordering and paying, waited 45mins outside the shop for the food. Handed my food with one of 3 items from the missing and they did say anything which I then questioned it, only to be told that they had run out of that too and I had already paid. To which the immature young girl thought the best response would be to compare themselves to McDonald’s and challenge me for raising the question telling me that if I was in McDonald’s I would have to pay for extra sauce because she had given me a speck of jerk sauce in a pot without charging me. Was left with a box of over cooked chicken and rice for my troubles. Also saw a man from the Chinese takeaway down the road drop them in a box of rice under the counter.
