My favourite Chinese restaurant in Bristol, not even close. Always enjoy trying new things here. It is worth mentioning that the whole team has professional experience back in China. For example, the owner and chef worked for a locally famous restaurant in Wenzhou for decades. This already distinguishes this place from most of other Chinese restaurants in Bristol. Everything attached is highly recommended. But if you don’t know where to start, try the lamb. Tips: Though the noodles are good, don’t be limited to the noodles menu. Food in the “white menu” is probably the reason why they are often regarded as one of the best in Bristol among Chinese. They also have daily specials, which can be accessible via WeChat.

The portion is massive compared to the price so please visit here completely empty stomach 🤣 Or you can also takeaway your unfinished food. But very authentic and loved the flavour. I had potato noodles with pork belly. Tasted divine. I don't think you need any side dish but if you have a good appetite then do try their dumplings too. They also serve hotpot. Ambiance is okayish. A little bit cramped. They have extra space upstairs. Also, they serve a bit slow because I think they get too many orders (both online and takeaway). Overall great Chinese restaurant and very pocket friendly ✨

I had spicy beef noodle soup and the missus had vegetable and tofu pho. Mine was brilliant - full of flavour, with delicious slow cooked beef, and the was plenty of it too, very generous portions. The missus's was very fresh tasting with tons of veg. I'm knocking a star off because it had a little chunk of meat in it - the missus is a vegetarian so this is pretty bad. CASH ONLY! We had to walk to a nearby garage to withdraw some.

A cosy little joint with a café atmosphere. It seems to cater mostly to a Chinese clientele. The Mandarin being spoken, and signage in simplified Chinese script, signal that it's a bit different from the Cantonese-based "Golden Palace" or "Lucky Dragon" we might be used to in the 'burbs. There are dishes from a range of Asian cuisines, but we sampled only the Chinese.

It was hearty fare with quite heavy saucing, and a dish of stewed pork came with bones in and skin on, which might be a bit too 'authentic' for some tastes. My favourite was the ma-po tofu. There was some nicely done fresh veg too.

Worth a visit if you're pining for your Chinese ma-ma's home cooking, of course, or if you have a fancy to try something not adjusted to...

Brisnoodel is one of my favorite spots to enjoy a warm bowl of soup. I’ve fallen in love with their hotpepper soup, which is hearty, flavorful, and warms you up completely—it’s truly comforting. The soups here are phenomenal! While I haven’t explored too many other dishes, I can wholeheartedly recommend the lamb cumin—it’s delicious and wonderfully aromatic. The owner is incredibly kind and has a lovely habit of recognizing his customers and remembering their orders, which is especially charming for a bustling city like Bristol with so many visitors. I really enjoy the atmosphere of this place. It’s also worth noting that the prices are very reasonable. If I lived closer, I might just be tempted to stop...
