Steam Train passes by (seasonal). You & the kids can take a short trip along the dockside on this great old steam train. Get a hot or cold sarnie (sandwich), chips. Tea/coffee, soft drinks & cakes to takeaway sit on the train or wander around the docks. Free maritime museum. SS great Britain with visitor centre Outside seating only. Large covered area also. Only (low railings) a pathway between you & the water. Great outside space on the dockside. Close to city centre. Lots to see & do including harbour water bus (yellow) stops at points on harbour route. Boat trips. Unsure of disabled toilets at Brunels Buttery. Local businesses would have facilities. Parking metered but reasonable price on the dockside, not sure of outside as I am blue badge holder as such, display blue badge & clock card when in meter bay in Bristol & parking is free continuous 24hr 7...

Good independent greasy spoon with outdoor seating in a picturesque spot by the harbour. Gets incredibly busy late mornings and lunchtimes on the weekends. They serve the classics you might expect, largely some combination of bacon/egg/sausage on a roll or in a sandwich. They also sell burgers. It's good quality, but a little pricey, and can be a bit of a wait because it's such a small but popular outlet.

The drinks selection is small. Prepackaged soft drinks and basic tea/coffee. The coffee isn't great - there are much better choices nearby, so I'd recommend getting your food to go and grabbing a drink elsewhere. There are plenty of nearby spots where you can...

I know this place has a loyal following and a huge fan base, so I'll probably get shot for a negative review, but i can only go by my experience there. My partner and I went for a lovely long walk along the harbour and decided to stop here for some food and a rest. We ordered 2 jacket potatoes, a can of pop and a tea. After hearing how great it was, we had high hopes, sadly we were bitterly disappointed. The food was awful, tea was vile and the pricey cost of £14 we expected a lot better. In the end, after a mouthful, we binned the food and left. Really disappointing for somewhere that prides itself on their reputation. Would not return...

Really lovely spot on Habourside with wooden benches, a big awning over the top and a menu with something for everyone. Chilled out atmosphere, dogs are very welcome - they even have cooked then cooled doggie sausages wrapped in napkins and ready to go. The orders come out of the little kitchen pretty quickly, even on a busy Sunday. Go early as I was disappointed the tuna jacket potato had sold out but the chips were lovely instead. Someone else ordered the bacon and egg sandwich and it was a scrummy, chunky doorstop.

Brunel’s Buttery is a great place to get a no-nonsense bacon sandwich and coffee during a Sunday morning stroll around the beautiful Bristol Harbourside. Located not to far from the M Shed, the prices are great, the staff friendly and the food, simple but delicious. Would recommend to go early on a Sunday, before 9.00am as it does get busy as the day goes on. They have a great breakfast and lunch menu so hopefully you’ll find something you like.

What an earth is this? Charge you an arm and a leg and this is what you get? Small handful of overcooked chips…..Been going here since I was little with several different owners over the years but the latest lot really are the worst, half a burger bun box with no lid because they want to cut corners. Never known anything like it. Definitely won’t be back…till the next lot of owners anyway as I’m sure they won’t last if they carry on like this.
