I am a loyal and regular buyer of dominoes (fishponds) pizza. I ordered a large and medium pizza. Normally it arrives on time however it took 45 minutes. The medium pizza was fine but the large pepperoni passion was burnt particularly the meat. The pizza was bought for kids who were hungry. However because they were hungry they picked of the burnt meat/parts from a few slices and ate it.
I called the branch where a woman answered who had poor English and lack of customer skills. I explained the situation and explained I was not satisfied with the pizza. Her response was āwe cannot give you another if it has already been eaten and if it was burnt it should not have been eaten, and because some was eaten as part of their policy she could not offer another in exchange for the burnt oneā
I asked to speak to the manager, she said she was the manager.
I was extremely displeased and upset as I have bought many many pizzas from them. I put forward my argument that I did not pay for pizza which cost £20.99 for which took 45 minutes to arrive. She said the time limit is not a genuine reason because they cook 100 pizzas every hour. I then had to explain that the primary issue was that it was burnt, a secondary issue is that it arrived late.
She then said okay I will send you another pizza, I thanked her and she put the phone down without saying anything.
20 minutes later the driver arrived and delivered the pizza, again he also lacked customer skills. Didnāt say hello or even smile; I still thanked him for the pizza, and he walked away without saying any thing.
10 minutes after pizza being delivered, I receive a voice message from the same unskilled manager who said the pizza was not sent back with the driver and maybe the driver will collect it. Itās been an hour and a half and no driver.
I have not called back because of the communication. I donāt have time to be waiting around, what do they do with food thatās is given back? Eat it? Throw it away?
This is terrible service and I would recommend that this particular individual be trained in customer skills. This incident took place on 06.06.18 between 8pm and 9pm. Dominoes has lost a loyal customer,...
   Read moreOUTRAGED! I ordered 6 pizzas for me and my friends over the phone at 17:54, i was very precise and clear with my order. The phone call ended at 18:02. They said it would take 25 minutes to be ready. So i left early at 18:20 and left my flat mates and THE FOOTY, game time was 43 mins first half. So i thought id be back comfortably in time for the second half. We got to dominos for 18:25 and they said just another 5-10 minutes we are really busy. Fair enough its saturday. So we wait until 18:45 and a employee looks over to me and says oh you guys are still waiting... my friend goes up and asks how much longer, they said its just coming out the oven. Its now 19:08. Im fuming. Ive missed nearly all the footy now, fuming. The guy finally comes over at 19:13 with my pizzas and says "we got there in the end" and hands us the pizzas, NOT even an apology. I say to myself, its not his fault i wont complain. So we quickly drive home and the game time is 93+ so ive missed all the game. I hand out the pizzas to my friends, sit down ready to eat my meateor, open the box and its a PLAIN TOMATO and CHEESE, it even says meateor, medium, with tomota base, exactly what i ordered! All my mates pizzas are fine and correct who have sat in my house watching the football. I AM FUMING i have never been so angry with dominos! Ever. I drive back, show them, they take away that incorrect Cheese and tomato and say they will remake my meateor and said we are sorry its been really busy, in my mind im like "Is that it, no refund or someone to come over and apologise properly, not just a casual sorry mate" I couldnt stand to be in the store anymore i said i dont want it, give me a refund . Which they did give me, a whole £8.50, by a women who wasnt even apologetic, just gives me the refund and walks off. Unbelievable. Terrible. Never going here again even though i love their pizza. The driver called me before 2 times to double check the address which was fine, he dis not speak well english but I tried to understand everything I can. The address And postcode I provided was correct. He called again at 10pm and said he will 20min late which was ok for me. Then after 22.40 I started to call him but no answer. At 23pm he picked up and said he waited somewhere and couldnāt find the address(My house is the first one the postcode drops you on satnav). I was waiting in the lounge to see someone coming towards and also the light by the door was on just to notice the house easier. Finally I reached his mobile 23.10pm and he said no pizza bye bye. Im still shocked by the service as my self I work in car rental business and I manage 50-60 car deliveries a day and I know how it should work. I tried to contact the main store number but no answer after 3 attempts. Im still shocked I did not get my delivery for which I paid online, I would be fine to get food late but this is outrageous service which I never experienced in the UK in 7 years.
