UNACCEPTABLE!!!! This is regarding an order I made on the 6th of November 2024 around 12.45pm for a cream tea oolong hot with pearls together with one cup of normal milk tea. Firstly the barista forgets I ordered two drinks, and then my cream tea oolong was served with no pearls, he had to make me another one, and due to rushing for my bus I had to leave without checking my drink, turns out he did add pearls didnāt add cream crown this time!!!! What the hell is going on gong cha?!?

I had to tell him I ordered two drinks before he realized he left the other drink in the machine which he definitely forgotten about.
The barista did not realise he forgotten about the pearls at all, I had to sip multiple times to try to find pearls only to realize it wasnāt there, and then went back to tell him about it - it was then only did he realise, but before that he even questioned me if I remembered my order wrong!!!!! There was no point in time where he suggested if he could add pearls into my initial drink as a solution. Anyways you cannot reasonably expect to just dump pearls into a half drunk drink that has Milk Foam on the top as a solution and that a customer will accept it, making a new drink was the only way to rectify things.
If youāre sure that milk foam was added into the second drink (Iām not referring to the 1st) then itās tragic that it dissolved within 3 minutes to the point I canāt see nor...

I ordered brown sugar milk tea, which I normally love, but when I got it, it was just awful. The tapioca was off a worse quality than I was used to, and the drink was both overly sweet and also somehow bitter at the same time, with a soapy aftertaste.
My partner had a similar experience ordering mango green tea. It just tasted... Wrong.
After trying to drink them for 15 minutes and still having over 4/5 left, we realised we just couldn't drink it, it tasted terrible.
We decided to go up to to counter and ask politely if there was anything they could do because we just couldn't drink them, hoping for either a refund or just getting a different drink for free, like most establishments would have.
We are simply told, in a harsh tone of voice by the person serving that "I don't understand, you chose the drink, why are you complaining" and "you literally got what you ordered it's not my fault you don't like it" And got sent away.
I understand that but we both had had the same orders from multiple other places and loved it, and most places such as where I work would just refund you no questions asked.
The whole experience was just terrible, and when you're spending £12 on two drinks as an occasional expensive treat, you expect...

Tell me why they advertise it as matcha at the bottom with strawberry milk in the middle and the milk foam at the top but it was served like I cant see the strawberry milk? I asked if this was strawberry and the employee said the matcha must've been poured on too hot so it mustve mixed. Well don't pour it so hot then? It's not a big deal but if you're advertising it where the colours/drink flavours look seperated before mixing then you should serve it like that.
It was also SOOOO bitter. Either they used a low quality matcha or like he said, he made the matcha so hot that it makes it bitter.
