I stumbled upon Little Bagel Co. near the University of Bristol before the class, and it's an absolute gem! The moment I saw its vibrant blue - painted exterior with the adorable "FRESH BAGELS" sign, I knew I had to go in.
The interior is a perfect mix of simplicity and charm. The white - tiled walls, exposed pipes, and trendy artwork create a modern yet cozy ambiance. The wooden bench and stools add warmth, and the large menu boards are both practical and stylish.
I ordered the corned beef bagel and the smoked salmon one. The corned beef bagel was a work of art. The bagel had a perfect crusty exterior and a soft, chewy inside. The corned beef was piled high, tender, and full of flavor. The smoked salmon bagel was equally amazing. The salmon melted in my mouth, with a delicate smoky taste that paired beautifully with the cream cheese and other toppings.
The staff here are the icing on the cake. They're friendly, approachable, and clearly passionate about their bagels. They were more than happy to answer my questions and make recommendations.
It's also worth mentioning the little details, like the branded t - shirts on display and the neatly arranged coffee station. It shows that a lot of thought has gone into making this place special.
Being so close to the University of Bristol, it's an ideal spot for students to grab a quick and delicious bite before class. I'll definitely be back to try more of their mouth -...
Read moreI visited this place and tried their bagel for the first time 2 weeks ago. Owners and two attendants were very friendly and kind. I really appreciate owners bringing a good taste to this area. However, I think it is very expensive for a student to buy very often. 5£ to 7£ for a bagel is simply saying we don't want any students. We want customer with money. Considering they are at the heart of a student campus, no discount for students is very selfish and eventually it will be like BackYard Chicken Place 50yards down on Queens st. They resisted a student price but now they understand who their main customers could be. I urge owners to remind themselves they are not at Manhattan NewYork even there, bagel places sell bagel for 4$.
As a student, I can buy a wide range of mediocre bakery for under 1£ in Sainsbury's and Waitrose but 5£ for a palm size bagel, with no comfy place to sit like Nero(%15 Student discount and free coffee with stamp collection). This is something I can only try on special days when I get a raise. I wish owners best of luck and hope to see them when there is a...
Read moreAs a family visiting Bristol for a university open day, we popped into the Little Bagel Company on Queens Road — and we’re so glad we did! Between us, we ordered hot chocolate, coffee, and a great selection of 4 bagels: the Salmon Lox, Bacon Egg & Cheese, the BLT, and the Chicken Salad with Avocado and Bacon. Each and every one was absolutely delicious. The poppy seed and sesame toppings were both spot on, giving them great flavour and texture.
The portions were generous — we only managed half our bagels mid-morning and saved the rest for later, which kept us going all day, so definitely worth the price. Service was excellent, with a special thanks to Joe, and it was great to see the owner on site, working hard alongside the team.
All in all, a fantastic experience — highly...
