Absolutely love this place! We popped in to meet friends and were blown away. For being in a railway arch, it's lovely; light and spacious, the decor warm and welcoming with great chilled out music. Perfect place to meet friends and catch up. Great selection of drinks. I'm not a beer drinker myself, so I had the Iford Cider instead; light and crisp. We only stayed for one anyway because the bar staff made us feel like we were inconveniencing them by being there. Went in with 13 of us and somebody from our group made a simple enquiry about whether one of the beers was vegan, which they were unable to answer even after reading the can. They started getting uppity about how there was a queue building up, even though our group was the queue and nobody else was bothered about waiting. A group of us attended based on reviews and planning our own craft tour of Bristol. We were excited about this little place.
Whilst the IPA was fantastic (I went for a guest IPA), the lady serving us was borderline insulting and extremely rude. Absolutely no interest in serving us, attentively mute and we felt like an inconvenience to her.
We quickly drank our beer and walked to Moor Brewing Co up the road. We also bumped into a couple who also left due to the same experience.
