Rita's — Restaurant in Bristol

I have used Rita's a few times in the past as a takeaway, the food has been excellent hence our delivery order via Just Eat this evening. tonight has been a disaster! 2 1/2 hours later we don't have a correct order. We were missing a large kebab, although the rest of the order was present. I thought that I would go through the restaurant myself rather than via Just Eat to give them a chance to correct the issue. This proved to be a mistake. After explaining the issue we were initially offered a replacement kebab, however as discussed I wanted to eat with my partner and so asked for a full redelivery with the original food sent back which was agreed to. Been using Rita's for probably 40 years now on and off but haven't ordered for the past 5-6 years so thought it was about time i did (considering they were one of the best takeaways in Bristol for years). Really wish i didn't bother tbh, the food was horrible, overcooked and undercooked miniscule portions with a somewhat iffy smell. Plus it was ordered for delivery via Uber eats which took nearly an hour to deliver AFTER i inquired how long roughly it would take and being told that they had already collected (we live about 1 1/2 mile from Rita's)!!!!. Food is not as good as used to be. Been eating here for years. It’s now rather expensive. You can get a large kebab for £5 down the road at Bristol kebab house. The large here is £7.50 and half the size, although very slightly better quality. You get lots salad but if I wanted salad I’d go falafel hut. I ordered large doner meal.
