Found this hot chocolate/coffee shop near the Premier Inn I was staying at (Finzels Reach) and they serve the best hot chocolates I’ve ever had, and I’m an avid hot chocolate drinker! The option to choose the % chocolate content and the staff were great to talk to and helped me choose the best option to get my taste buds tickling 😊 There are also the usual options for non-hot chocolate drinkers so they do cater for anyone looking to get that morning or afternoon hot beverage hit. The place was very clean and it’s great to see them actually produce their own chocolate in the shop, which adds to the experience. I will be sure to come back when I’m next down in Bristol on a work trip! Such a great place.

Upon the approach, the coffee shop/factory is really quite remarkable. The thick, branded glass windows act as a window into the chocolate making world of RubyHue. It’s so great to see such a transparent, local producer capable of such exceptional produce working in the community. Very rarely do you feel such an honest, wholistic approach to a craft let alone something so technically difficult. Not only do the products shine in terms of quality and care but the hot chocolate will blow your socks off! I extend my thanks to Tom and Ruth for their outstanding hospitality and exceptional chocolates. I can’t wait until I bulk buy for Christmas! Thanks, Michael

Had the pleasure of chatting with the owners at the Brighton Chocolate Festival and they were lovely and their products were to die for! Ru made possibly the best chocolate chip cookie I’ve ever had in my entire life. We went home with their chocolate hot sauce and it’s now become a new favourite. The branding is top-notch, the vibes are immaculate, and it’s been a few days and I can’t stop thinking about them. I haven’t actually had the chance to go to their store in Bristol yet but it’s definitely on my to do now, their hot chocolates look divine!!!

Ruby Hue is hands down one of the best chocolate experiences I’ve had. From the moment you step in, you’re greeted with the rich aroma of handcrafted chocolate and the warm, genuine welcome of the owners, who are very passionate about their craft.

The quality of their chocolate is exceptional . They source cacao beans from different countries, and it really shows in the depth and variety of flavours they create.I bought three chocolate bars and a chocolate milk shake. All incredibly tasty.

The owners took the time to walk me through the entire bean-to-bar process, and it was fascinating to learn how much care and skill goes into each piece of chocolate. Their knowledge, enthusiasm, and love for what they do truly elevate the whole experience.

If you’re in Bristol — whether you’re a local or just visiting — Ruby Hue is a...

Came in the morning as I had a bit of free time before work, so glad I did! Ordered the Brazilian dark chocolate with tasting notes of Treacle, Coffee and Oak and happily the owner (didn't get her name) immediately said it was her favourite of the selection and we had a lovely chat about chocolate while she was making it. I can happily say this is the best hot chocolate I've had in Bristol, felt like one of the few times tasting notes didn't feel made up because my god if I wasn't watching her make it front of me I would've sworn she poured some literal treacle and coffee into it!

Please support this business I really want them to stay around :)

P.S. they do all varieties of milk if that's an important...
