The Big Bao — Restaurant in Bristol

I would like to give 0 star to this restaurant if I could. I have experienced a terrible customer service last time, when I found a hair in my milk tea. Absolutely unacceptable to have an experience like that. I had another experience before last time. I was ordering on the machine and I forgot to pick tapioca because that was the first time I used the machine. And when my drink was ready and the staff gave it to me, I asked why there were no tapioca, she answered that she has asked us whether we would like any toppings or not. And I was shocked about how she talked to us. The way she talked to us was terribly rude, also kind of teasing us. Absolutely love this place! Bao buns, bahn mi, rice bowls, all affordable price and super convenient location. Came here initially because the place in Stokes Croft was closed, as 3pm on a Friday, but glad I did!They take card payments (if you don’t then there’s an ATM on the corner for cash), have outdoor seating and have bubble tea too. Such a great place. Staff are friendly and gave their recommendations on flavours also making it a bit more personalised. Loved the recommended Char Su pork bahn mi and the tofu mushroom bao buns. I saw they did banh mi and thought I would get one. Now I've eaten it I remember I tried it once before, a few years ago. This is not a good banh mi. In fact it hardly resembles what a banh mi is supposed to be. It should have a nice, fresh, light baguette, it should be stuffed with meat and fresh, zesty vegetables and coriander, it should have a load of fresh chilies and siracha on it.
