1855 Bistro & Bar, BLC Group — Restaurant in Burnley

My friend and I went for lunch here today. We both had babies (3 week old and 15 month old) we were made to feel very welcome and were offered high chairs for the babies. We chatted for a little while before ordering anything, we weren't made to feel as tho we needed to order straight away either. I had the cheese and onion pie veg and chips and my friend had the chilli. Both were absolutely delicious. My 15 month old shared my food (and made quite a mess of the floor) when I asked for a dustpan and brush to sweep up the mess she had made they said that they would do it and not to worry. The atmosphere was nice, calm and relaxing. Baby changing facilities available and very clean. Definitely recommend going here! Reasonably priced...

Went to the bistro for lunch for my friend birthday. All 3 people enjoyed their food. But I didn't like what I got the bbq steak burger. The burger was a funny taste and they put prawn sauce in a dish instead of bbq sauce. My fries was cold. I wish I'd sent it back the meal. Staff are very friendly and do a lovely service.
