Well were do I begin ....
We arrived after a very long journey hoping to just go through the drive through and we were met by a staff member directing people etc... instead of letting us enter he asked us to drive to the roundabout to turn around and join the queue on the opposite side of the road???
We decided to park in Tesco and walk over to join the other queue of people who were either dining in or taking away.
We were then asked if we were dining in or taking away, we were taking away so she counted the 3 of us and then allowed us in so we started our order at the kiost. The lady then told one of us to wait outside claiming she was trying to make the area safe??
We assumed our friend would have been asked to come in straight after us but then she let a family of 7 in to the same kiosk and didnt turn them away to wait outside.
So whilst we were waiting for our food our friend was still outside and i went to ask if I could order my friends meal so we couldve all had a warm meals.... the lady manning the door shouted over to me "I am the manager''
Too which I replied ok I wasnt trying to complain I was seeing if I could order my friends so I tried asking and I said I wasnt trying to complain I was trying to ask a question.
How rude!!! I mean when she said this I should've bloody complained!!! I am appalled and disgusted with the attitude this manager had with us!!!
Our meals were now cold and if she would vent have let a family of 7 and then another family of 5 at the kiosks I wouldve understood when she said she was trying to keep the area safe!!
I am an NHS worker I am fully aware of what needs to be done to keep somewhere safe but to act this way to myself and my friends was uncalled for and totally...

In the last few years, McDonald's prices across the board have risen by between 25% and 75%. You'd expect that would at least coincide with SOME kind of improvement to offset costs that are massively overtaking inflation rates. It doesn't. The convenience of McDonald's is all but gone - taking sometimes as long as 25 minutes to get your order. Service quality is all but gone, which is excusable, given the stagnant wages and high stress work environments. Somehow, the actual quality of McDonald's food seems to have dropped as well. I say that as someone with an unusually high tolerance for rubbery, dry burgers.
But to top it all off, this particular McDonald's restaurant is a nightmare unparalleled. We placed an order for the drive thru which would have cost less than 20 pounds in years past, being over 30 pounds now. We received it after being told to wait in the car park for around twenty minutes. The fries were already lukewarm and soggy, (standard McDonald's fare, easily excusable) and when we made it home, nearly EVERY SINGLE item was missing key components or incorrectly customised, spoiling the whole thing.
After several back and forth with various customer service providers, the manager simply said they can't offer a refund because we didn't make the 8 mile drive to take everything back to the 'restaurant', despite half of it being in the bin....
Read moreI like Macdonald's. Not often, but, you know! Our visit there was good. Macdonald's has changed a lot over the years for the better. I'm fairly sure Ronald has been retired, put on gardening leave or has been locked up for crimes against sanity. A few comments. 1) The enormous touch screens are not great. When you give up and decide queuing in the rain (without a car) in the drive through bit is preferable something is very wrong. I like to ask "May I have, please" instead of "Can I get" because a little politeness and old fashioned non-American vernacular makes you sound a bit classy instead of a cretin. 2) The chef decided to sneakily put two Vege goujons in the 'sandwich' instead of a Vege deluxe patty. What's that about? Should you not tell your customers they aren't getting what they ordered? However...on the plus side, the table ordering is cool and the staff friendly. I wanted to play on the Samsung tablets because secretly I am 9 years old. It's quite difficult to access as a pedestrian - did the council stop you building a few steps Macdonald's? Weird. Keep it up guys. Shame about the recycling disaster... Paper straws you can't recycle? - That's an epic fail... in the modern vernacular of the cretin. Honestly, I like you (the people who work there and try so hard) but Macdonald's is not exactly getting the environmental stuff even...
