New Caerphilly Fish Bar & Cafe — Restaurant in Caerphilly

So I was looking at reviews for a fish and chip shop in town and this got the best reviews, I thought Google is pretty good for accuracy and decided to try it out. Well we weren't disappointed at all, it was a lovely experience. The fish was fresh the batter wasn't too thick and the staff very friendly and helpful. We sat down to eat and there was table service. I ordered the fish with chips and mushy peas. My mum ordered just a cod and battered sausage. It was good quality and they have a good range of soft drinks. Also they did provide a glass of water for free. I enjoyed it and highly recommend it to others. The order of food from this place is just utter poor, the first thing I'd like to point out is why on earth do I get the feeling this place has lack in food safety, picking up the battered cod, and finding a short hair under it (Could be any type of hair on the body), and the amount of oil also on the packaging is also highly annoying to see, on top there were burnt chip bits to go with it, they should have been taken out in order to show the caring fact of serving such food. I'll keep it short and Sweet. Good Value for the food. Had a fresh taste and for somone with a fussy pallet this truly means alot. Could of been 5 stars but there were two members of staff and two of what I imagine are Family members just standing in the shop, no one was wearing any masks so I do question the safety precautions that they take.
