First time in Hebden Bridge and was pleased to find an Indonesian restaurant, being from neighbouring Malaysia and living in Manchester, which weirdly is lacking in Malaysian/Indonesian restaurants.
First off, it's located in Traders Club, which is so welcoming and the drinks all were very reasonably priced. We ordered the vegetable fritters, vegetarian nasi campur (rice with mixed sides) and tempeh rendang. The portions were generous, we had to pack away some food at the end! My favourite was the giant fritters - crispy, well seasoned and even better dipped in the sweet chilly sauce. We enjoyed the nasi campur. The tempeh rendang was ok, I may be more accustomed to the dry type rendang rather than the wet one served. But overall, an enjoyable meal.

Nin asked as to level of spicyness required in the rendang from one to five. I asked for a four & I was happy with the level of heat. My wife’s Nasi Campur was a proper plateful of food - I ended up with plenty extra! 👍🏻 Great value at a tenner...
