Halifax Beefeater — Restaurant in Calderdale

I received Excellent customer service this is my 3rd or 4th time to in as many weeks.

The food has been really good, tasty and cooked really well. Value for money aswell when I used a voucher code on each of these occasions, so my final bill has been absolutely been pocket friendly. All my food has been cooked to mine and my family's requests.

There has been nothing short of Excellent Service 1st from a lady called Laura. The manager what can I say from me entering the establishment on my 1st occasion in the past 2 months for a long time (the very warm welcome). Remembering on my next 3 visits, and I can not tell you from these 2 member of staff the little things in listening and observing my table and making sure our soft drinks were topped up. I ahowed my gratitude by topping and make sure I bought them both a drink.

I'd like to personally thank this establishment for the Excellent Service. I feel my comment don't do this establishment justice. This should be the Platinum standard for service in Beefeater, please pass on my personal thanks to Laura and again to the manager COSTEL.

I will be back to the restaurant in December 2022.

My girlfriend and I came here tonight as a treat as we have both been under allot of stress lately. We were told on the door that it would be half an hour wait which we were happy to do as we love the food here. However, nearly 2 hours had passed and we still had not been seated after being told by the meet and greet waitress that she'd let us know when a table was ready as we were waiting in the bar. We eventually asked another staff member who seated us immediately. A couple next to us looked really fed up and they told us they had been waiting over an hour and half for their food. We had only been seated after nearly 2 hours of waiting for a seat so there was no chance of us waiting another couple of hours to eat. We appreciate they were short staffed but there was no communication or apology from the waitress who was greeting guests. If there had been some communication we would have been understandable but it was abysmal. Such a shame as it's usually really nice. The manager was accommodating when we arrived and fitted us in although they were reasonably busy..we thought the menu for the surf and turf, and the mixed grill was reasonable priced,so thats what we ordered..when the food came the plate was cold and the food was cold too.. we sent it back to the kitchen and they warmed it and served it back to us,,minus the salad,grilled tomatoes, mushrooms ,fried eggs etc..The fat on the sirloin reduced an 8oz to a 5oz steak..we asked for them replacing and we could see the chef's laughing in the background as if spending £50 was a joke..When we complained, the answer was we are fairly busy tonight although the waiter have beenbtold to check the food temperatures. Gordon Ramsey would have f..ck..and blinded if he saw this. Its not acceptable when you treat yourselves and look forward to the quality..Wetherspoons would have been at least half the price and better food.. I think we should have been compebsated for...
