I WENT HERE THIS EVENING WITH MY MOTHER AND CUSIN JOEANNE AND RECEIVED A VERY GENEROUS WARM WELCOME SO YES PLACE IS VERY WARM AND WELCOMING. Very beautiful decor and very reasonablely priced for the very generous ample portions of the most delicious food and at most definitely the best place to eat in all of Yorkshire for miles around. Food is very high quality and outstandingly superb and exceeded our expectations I had lamb kleftico and so did mom and me CUSIN had chicken kebabs all extremely very delicious 😋 we all will definitely be going again and again and we very highly recommend this place too eat run by a very wonderful extremely beautiful husband and wife team only the two of them run the venue but the kitchen is open so u see your gorgeous food been prepared and u are garenteed it's very fresh and best restaurant to eat at in Yorkshire. New management 2 weeks ago. Waiter’s first night so not his fault but he was overwhelmed and didn’t appear to have have had any basic training. There were 5 tables (14 diners in total) so not busy. But the just eat orders kept coming in. We were close enough to hear the “you have a new order” on the printer 🤣. Just a few tips… take order, take away menus then serve drinks. People will wait a bit for food if they have a drink. Don’t bring starter with Main course (they did) but not before they had given us a ‘free starter’ which another table didn’t seem to get? So not sure what that was all about. We had flat breads and 3 dips to share for a starter. Dips were huge. Save money and cut that down by half. Food portions were huge… all served on a wooden board. Chips were soggy (get better chips or hotter fat) don’t put even more flatbread on with the main… and more tzatziki… honestly you are throwing away profit. Just eat drivers seemed to be hanging around for ages…. So something not quite right with timings in the kitchen. All of these comments are meant to be constructive and helpful. Incredible place! We didn’t expect much today as we hadn’t booked anywhere, went for it quite late as we lost track of time and most restaurants were shut. Service was great, Alex who served us was kind and looked after us well, also we did stay a little later than expected, no one made us feel uncomfortable about it, we didn’t feel rushed. Friendly two chefs peaked out of the kitchen to say their goodbyes as we were leaving - lovely, friendly atmosphere and vibes from everyone.

As for the food, wow! The saucy prawns were an incredible starter, full of flavour. We’re both not big on bread but the pita bread was fresh and warm, we even asked for more. We tried the mezze for two, could feed a whole family, I’m so happy I’ll be able to have some leftovers tomorrow. My friend and I were chatting about coming back and what we’d order next time, that’s how you know the service and food is great.
