Best Indian I’ve had so far in Cambridge. Asian sticky wings and Handi beef with garlic naan are a must! I’ve been searching for good tandoori meat and this place highly exceeds my expectations - using traditional tandoor clay oven to cook their tandoori dishes, the smoked flavour in every bite was spot on. This is what brings me back to this place asking for more. All dishes were seasoned and spiced well, and they’re very accommodative with adjusting spice level according to your preference. Food came to the table hot and fresh, including naan and rice.

Not only the food is great, staff service was amazing as well. Everyone went above and beyond with food/drinks suggestions and making sure we’re served well. The waitress even made mango lassi for us which wasn’t on the menu, due to available mango pulp. Plates were served warm/hot before the dishes arrived, and food presentation was great as well.

Me and my wife ordered the Beef Biryani and the Aloo (side potatoe dish). We were a bit apprehensive at first as we already have a local indian spot we frequent, however we were left awestruck at the quality of the food.

The biryani was served in a lovely ceramic bowl which added to the experience. As it was big, the portion size was more than enough for the both of us even though we ordered only one beef biryani portion.

The meat was to die for, and the fat caps would literally melt in your mouth. There was no overly chewy meat and the texture was spot on. Additionally the sauce they provided with it was glorius.

The aloo in itself was tasty, but complemented the biryani amazingly.

The price, for both of us, was under £20 and honestly I would have paid much more.

For the quality and the portion size, this was well worth it.

EXCELLENT DINNER. First, Fusion Hut isn't near the main tourist area, so you might have to walk around bit to find it. BUT IT'S TOTALLY WORTH IT. We found it by accident, but wish we stumbled across it last night too. Second, it's not a big place, which adds to the charm and ambiance. It's not "fusion" in the snob-charge-12.5%-service-charge-dilute-the-menu pretentious meaning. It's a mixture of Bangladeshi and Indian cuisines in the best sense of the concept. We ordered Meat Samosa, Bhindi's Ghost and Noah's Butter Chicken. Bhindi's Ghost was described as " medium spicy ", but to my hopelessly American pallette was more-than-medium. But that didn't affect how good it tasted. Noah's Butter Chicken was slightly sweet and steamed rice pairs well with it.
