No 30 — Restaurant in Cambridge

Avoid! Was ignored for the first 10 minutes of my visit. The chef was shouting at the waiting staff and seemed to have some attitude problems. The coffee was over-extracted and bitter and the food was made without any love whatsoever - Lettuce leafs where brown and soggy, bacon and parmesan cheese were clearly factory cut and grated (!) How lazy can you get!? I also had a plate of pancakes, 90% of the fruit was brown, rotten strawberry on top, raspberries that were mushy and had black bits inside of them. The pancake itself looked like the pre-made ones they sell at Tesco....

The food here was great but the reason i wanted to write this review was because of the great staff and service.

Food was fast and fresh, and staff was really polite. The atmosphere here is second to none and have done a great job of converting the old farm shop that used to be here.

I would also like to thank the staff for trying to find my phone a charger and calling me a cab back home since my phone was dead. Little things like that really make it or break it in businesses. To make me feel comfortable enough to ask is not easy, so thank...

A cosy cafe attached to a very nice pub, the quality of brunch was excellent. Not in general a vegan, I ordered the vegan breakfast as I was feeling adventurous. Pleasantly surprised as I received a large plate full of tasty food. The avocado cut to look like a rose shows that they went above and beyond my expectations! The side salad did include (what seemed to me to be) wild flowers which I was not used to, however not being a vegan connoisseur, I don't know - this may be normal. The accompanying flat white was hot and good...
