Nestled in the heart of the town, The Salisbury Arms is a pub that effortlessly combines the cozy charm of a traditional English pub with the culinary excellence of a top-tier restaurant. From the moment you walk through the doors, you are welcomed with warm smiles and a convivial atmosphere that promises a memorable dining experience.

Front of house, Juno and Fin set the tone with their impeccable service. Juno's friendly demeanor and extensive knowledge of the menu make you feel right at home, while Fin's attentiveness and professional manner ensure that every need is promptly met. Their teamwork creates a seamless and enjoyable dining experience that makes you want to return again and again.

But the real stars of The Salisbury Arms are Janusz and Adam, the culinary maestros behind the scenes. Their pizzas are nothing short of legendary. Each one is a masterpiece, boasting a perfectly crisp crust, a delightful blend of flavors, and the freshest of ingredients. The Margherita is a testament to simplicity done right, while the ‘Toni’ offers a spicy kick that leaves your taste buds tingling with delight.

One bite of their Mushroom pizza, and you'll understand why The Salisbury Arms has quickly become a local favorite. The earthy truffle aroma combined with the rich, creamy cheese is a match made in heaven, all thanks to Janusz and Adam's culinary prowess. Their dedication to their craft is evident in every slice, making each pizza an unforgettable experience.

The Salisbury Arms isn't just about the food; it's about the entire experience. The cozy interior, the lively atmosphere, and the exceptional service all contribute to making it the perfect spot for any occasion, whether it's a casual night out with friends or a special celebration.

In conclusion, The Salisbury Arms is a pub that exceeds expectations on every level. With Juno and Fin ensuring top-notch service and Janusz and Adam delivering pizza perfection, this is a place that truly stands out. Don't miss the chance to visit and indulge in what can only be described as a...

This place does a mean brisket lasagna! The tomato sauce was rich and flavourful, and most importantly, not too tart - acidity is the downfall of far too many otherwise delicious lasagnas. This one was just right. And the white sauce perfectly balanced out the more savory, heavy oomph of the tomato sauce, lending the dish a gentle creaminess and rounding out the flavour of each bite.

But can we just talk about the brisket. Tender, soft enough that it just separates at the teeth, with a slight char on the outside, which gives it character. Contrast that with your typical lasagna with mince, which usually ends up with the flavour and consistency of mushy dog food. Brisket was a smart choice because it packs a meaty punch while retaining the texture of the meat and the feeling of having something “real” to chow down on.

Every bite felt like a thoughtfully composed symphony, with the tomato sauce providing the flavour base, the white sauce bringing balance, the pasta and the brisket bringing texture and meatiness that brings the whole dish together.

Lasagna is so commonplace and yet so hard to do well. This place is one of the very few that does...

The pub itself is a lovely place, welcoming and nice decor. The food on the other hand was really sub-par. To start, everything I tried to order from the menu was not available. What I did end up ordering, Massaman Cury, had no chicken in it which it clearly stated on the menu. Nothing was mentioned by the staff to say that it would not come with chicken. Two of us ordered it so it wasn’t a mistake on one, neither came with chicken. The rice that came with the curry was soggy and undercooked. All the other food we ordered, wings, pizza and nachos were all not good, no flavour, too salty and the nachos had no pulled pork in it which again it stated on the menu. We were very disappointed with all of our food and will probably not come back for a meal, maybe for a pint but that’s about it. Shame because as mentioned it is a lovely place but sadly can’t recommend the...

first time in cambridge and genuinely the nicest pub i’ve ever visited. the staff were super helpful and friendly and the vibes inside and outside are impeccable. the garden space is small but gets the sun just perfectly. they even had a gluten free pizza base that was surprisingly tasty!! 2-4-1 pizzas on a monday so ended up being super affordable. ashley behind the bar was the sweetest most wholesome person ever and gave us recommendations for pubs/clubs to visit and 10/10 service so thank you ashley !! such a cute location and pub you must visit !!

How refreshing! When was the last time you walked into an establishment and were welcomed with a warm greeting and a smile? Personally, I haven’t in a while. Jem has been a star, serving us with speed and open arms. It has been a quiet Sunday afternoon here in Salisbury Arms, with a hot and flavoursome Sunday Roast, while it drizzles outside. Thank you for having me and my partner here. It was our first time here and it will not be our last!

Pizza is clearly their specialty as I got the Zesty Bird which had overcooked chicken and overly acidic salad. However, the free vegan pizza we received (due to an accident) was really good for vegan food. The pizzas my friends got also looked really good. The atmosphere was cozy and the deco is really cool and stylish. Wouldn’t come back for food, but would for drinks.
