Now under new management as of March 2022. The new team are doing a great job with the pub. The vast rum selection is gone and the pub feels lighter and more airy with flowers on tables and a spruce up. Great selection of ales and beers and other drinks. It can get busy at times so have some consideration for the hard working bar staff and I do wish that people wouldn’t insist on trying to stand and drink at the bar during these busy spells when people are jostling to order drinks. Me and my family stumbled across this pub by accident in Christmas Eve whilst looking for somewhere to have a drink before my son's birthday meal at a pub nearby. To be honest I'd have been happy to spend the whole evening at The Live and Let Live; it's a pub you feel comfy in with a cosy wood clad interior, friendly service, pleasant clientele, and (for me as an ale drinker) an excellent selection of beers in the pumps that I'd have liked to work my way through if I'd had time.
