I recently had the pleasure of trying the French Toast at Chocoberry in Loughborough, and I must say, it was absolutely delightful. This cozy little cafe knows how to make a mean French toast that truly exceeded my expectations.

The moment the plate arrived, I was greeted with a beautiful presentation. The French toast was perfectly golden brown, with a light dusting of powdered sugar on top, giving it an irresistible touch. The aroma alone was enough to make my mouth water in anticipation.

As I took my first bite, I was immediately struck by the rich, buttery flavor that engulfed my taste buds. The bread was thick and fluffy, yet still managed to maintain a slight crispness on the outside. Each bite provided a harmonious blend of sweetness and a hint of cinnamon, making it a truly indulgent treat.

We waited around 20 mins with no other customers in the shop. 2 treacle tarts and custard which only had to be microwaved when it finally came out they were just about warm, asked to have them hot so then took another 5 mins reheating them which could have been done in 2mins with a commercial microwave which they looked to have had.

We also ordered a waffle which was spot on, really nicely presented and tasting apart from the ice cream which had a weird taste to it so didn't eat that and also the ice cream milk shake had the same nasty taste to it due to the ice cream.

We would return for the corn flake tart as eventually it did taste very nice and the custard was...

My order was a full white chocolate and banana waffle, milk chocolate churros,chocolate strawberries and a vanilla milkshake.I’ll allow the chocolate strawberries and vanilla milkshake but the other two items🤢.Felt like you were eating a cake (which came as a half not even full) with NUTELLA sauce instead of white chocolate which I could have had an allergy to nuts…The churros were also rock hard….They claim they have “new staff” although as an experienced dessert shop owner I know all staff are trained the same.Their customer service was also💩 as I rang back to complain and it felt as they barked at me.Absolutely horrendous,do...
