Entrance - If you don’t know the area, be mindful this restaurant is on the 2nd floor, we went to a place called Bills thinking the restaurant was in there but it was short walk around it and inside a building where you go up the elevator. Food - I had the chicken burger with a side salad and wings. My girl had nachos I think, can’t remember lol. My chicken burger was okay - nice presentation and the salad was nice and fresh. The wings were alright, they were Jerk BBQ ones - cooked well just wished they were seasoned a bit better as it just seemed they were fried with a bit of sauce ran over them. Drinks - We had the bottomless brunch so the drinks were on tab, im more a dark spirits drinker myself and there wasn’t that much choice of cocktails with regards to the dark spirits however the lovely manager Sean accommodated to that and gave me suggestions of dark spirits I could have and got me a nice glass of Havana with coke and a slice of lemon. It was very nice. If you’re getting the bottomless brunch I strongly recommend getting the Caipirinha & Iguanabana Punch - they were delicious!! Decor - Absolutely beautiful! So modern and had a nice touch to the Latin American theme. Cleanliness - Very clean and tidy, could not fault it. Cost - £94.40 for the both of us which I thought was reasonably priced. Customer service - Everyone was nice, friendly & attentive. Special mention to Connor, he was extremely helpful, had great suggestions & was funny. Also the manager Sean, he was also very helpful & attentive. Every staff member was nice could not fault any of them. Overall - 10/10 - the food was great, the drinks were great and the staff were even better!! I look forward to returning, thank you!

Have just got back from Las Iguanas Chelmsford. I looked at the reviews beforehand and I can safely say that I don't believe any of the reviews on here. It was an absolute terrible experience. I ordered a half roast chicken with jerk barbecue. The chicken was dry and solid in places where it had clearly been microwaved. Now I'm reasonable and understand things go wrong but my wife's chilli was just plain and boring and I've made better at home. My daughter had a Cuban sandwich. I wouldn't bother with that. It was just some weird panini/ciabatta with ham cheese and what was meant to be pork belly. It was plain. Just plain. The food (including my son's meals) all lacked flavour and could have come from anywhere. Completely indistinct and bland. Even the sauce on my chicken was just bland. To top it all off, no soap in the toilets, no toilet roll holder, hand dryer didn't work and was filthy. It's only the fact that the staff were helpful that I didn't complain. Nobody wants to ruin someone's day like that. But the price for what we just had to tolerate? Not worth it at all and a complete inaccurate portrayal of Latin American cuisine. Hard swerve people. Avoid avoid avoid.

We went here for a catch up with friends as we knew it would be a nice atmosphere and the bill wouldn't be extortionate. However we left shocked by the quality of the food for a large chain restaurant, it was fantastic. They have a large selection of cocktails and mocktails on 2 for 1 which is always a good start and they are very refreshing. The food menu is huge and picks dishes from all over South America so you should be able to find something you like. You can have tapas, burgers, enchiladas, wraps and more. I had a cheese fondue to start and couldn't recommend it more highly followed by the Buenos Aires burger (a very moist burger that holds together well) and churros to finish. If you want a decent meal on a Friday/Saturday night with friends where it won't cost you a fortune, the food is good, the atmosphere lively so that you don't feel you have to whisper to each other then this should be the place. It's position also means it's a great location if you want to pair it with a trip to Everyman cinema or to head into town for further drinks after your meal.

We have been to las Iguanas Chelmsford previously for brunch, but promised ourselves to return for a date night evening meal. As vegans we often get a raw deal in restaurants but las Iguanas has several tasty options, and once again we were very happy with our choices of main course, and the house white also went down a treat. Big thanks to our server Rory, who was cheerful and helpful with details about items on the menu. Would certainly recommend, and will definitely be back. And to boot, there was a great view from our table.

Me and my husband went to Las Iguanas for a date night. We had a wonderful experience. This is the first time we had a sit in meal. The team was friendly and service was good. 2 for 1 cocktails are a must try here. We tried the new spicy margherita and it didn't disappoint us. I love the perk offers. I could enjoy a chipotle chicken burrito just for 4 pound and a free cocktail/ mocktail 😊 I highly recommend this place and would definitely visit again.

Booked a table here for a Wednesday night, but really no need as it was only about 50% full. The food didn't look like there was much there, but it was really filling and tastey. I had a calamari to start and a burrito which was baked I think. This made it not fall apart when you're getting to the end! I thought it was quite pricey at £45 inc tip for 2 people with 2 courses and 2 drinks. Would eat there again, because my wife said so.
