Can honestly say I have never experienced bad service as I did in this restaurant! when booking the table changing it from 4-5 they said there were no 5 tables available and to just pull a seat over. it then took at least 10 mins before the waitress came over to take orders for drinks and starters. when ordering starters my partner ordered his and then she walked off assuming that no one else wanted a starter and I tried to call for her saying excuse me she walked off, I then tried to make eye contact so as to my order starter and she completely avoided coming over the table, in the end I had to walk up to her and order my starter. my partner ordered chicken wings from the lunch/early evening many as we could order this before 6:30pm and only 2 tiny wings with hardly any meat were served up and then my starter arrived that consisted of 1 brie and mango pastry that had said 2 on the menu all this arrived 10 mins before our first order of drinks had arrived. our waitress proceded to serve other tables and still we hadn't even ordered our mains by 6:30pm and had to ask another waiter and specify that we wanted food from the lunch menu as our previous waiter was too incompetent to ask for our order before this time and forgot to take our plates and so waited another 10 mins for these to be removed. at this point we has already been in the restaurant 40 mins. when our food arrived my waiter did not check or ask if we needed extra cutlery and so had to take a friends who didn't require them. when our food did eventually arrive a waiter who hadnt served us came over and asked if our food was okay. a friend also had ordered a glass of water and it still had not arrived after 10mins of waiting, and throughout the evening our waiter then avoided eye contact and didn't bother to further ask how our food was yet continued to ask other tables. eventually the service got better when we ordered desserts and our desserts arrived at 19:20 it then took a further 20 mins from by the time we ate to when the bill arrived, to also find an optional service charge had been added which we decided that we definitely would not be paying overall it was a bad experience and will not be...
Read moreWe visited last Saturday. Understandably due to being a Saturday night it was very busy so we expected there to be a wait for food. The male manager took our order for the three of us, we questioned at the time amongst ourselves that he hadn't written anything down and was doing it from memory. We waited over an hour for our food which was Understandable for the levels of busyness. However, we were situated next to the kitchen and food was not coming out at all. Once our food arrived the male manager asked us if there was anything else he could get us. My tacos were missing out of my selected tapas. The manager didn't acknowledge it or say anything. Just ran into the kitchen and seemed to be making them. Ten minutes passed and we had no tacos or update so we asked a lovely lady who was serving who was apologetic and went to check for us. Some more time passed and she apologetically brought over the tacos. However, these were the wrong ones. The manager who took our order and then made them himself never clarified which tacos we were missing. She apologised and went back into the kitchen. Another 10 minutes passed and everyone had eaten their food at the table. I approached the male manager and asked what's going on where he replied they are being remade. There was no apology or sympathy on the matter and when this was brought up, he passed the blame on to the lovely female server saying he thought she would of apologised on his behalf. As a manager of a restaurant this is not the conduct you would expect. After asking, no gesture was offered, they removed the tapas but the service received from the male manager was not brand representable. The food we had was delicious and the other staff members we spoke to were marvellous. We heard other women in the toilets complaining that they had been there 2 hours and only received their starter so it was not just us...
Read moreEntrance - If you don’t know the area, be mindful this restaurant is on the 2nd floor, we went to a place called Bills thinking the restaurant was in there but it was short walk around it and inside a building where you go up the elevator.
Food - I had the chicken burger with a side salad and wings.
My girl had nachos I think, can’t remember lol.
My chicken burger was okay - nice presentation and the salad was nice and fresh.
The wings were alright, they were Jerk BBQ ones - cooked well just wished they were seasoned a bit better as it just seemed they were fried with a bit of sauce ran over them.
Drinks - We had the bottomless brunch so the drinks were on tab, im more a dark spirits drinker myself and there wasn’t that much choice of cocktails with regards to the dark spirits however the lovely manager Sean accommodated to that and gave me suggestions of dark spirits I could have and got me a nice glass of Havana with coke and a slice of lemon. It was very nice.
If you’re getting the bottomless brunch I strongly recommend getting the Caipirinha & Iguanabana Punch - they were delicious!!
Decor - Absolutely beautiful! So modern and had a nice touch to the Latin American theme.
Cleanliness - Very clean and tidy, could not fault it.
Cost - £94.40 for the both of us which I thought was reasonably priced.
Customer service - Everyone was nice, friendly & attentive. Special mention to Connor, he was extremely helpful, had great suggestions & was funny.
Also the manager Sean, he was also very helpful & attentive.
Every staff member was nice could not fault any of them.
Overall - 10/10 - the food was great, the drinks were great and the staff were even better!!
I look forward to...
