CAWA Coffee — Restaurant in Chesterfield

Used this coffee shop every day for a long time having two or three drinks each visit. Unfortunately when new staff came in the atmosphere changed, the drinks went down hill having to return drinks as not drinkable on more than a couple of occasions. One particular new staff member could be heard bragging that he was a manager at McDonalds and another outlet, I'm sorry but I don't care where you worked in the past and certainly don't wish to hear you bragging about it. Stopped using this coffee shop now along with four friends. Since posting this review I understand the above mentioned member of staff has been let go. I do thank Adam and the rest of staff for taking the time to read these reviews and taking action on them. Very well done you have made my day. It's great to to find a coffee shop that's serving a nice coffee blend , tasty made in-house cakes and real bonus artisan bread, not always easy to get, plus catering for all with veggie and vegan options. The staff are very welcoming, not rushing you ,taking time to chat as they serve and remembering your preferences when ordering next time( having been there more than once) making it more of a personnel experience. Tried this place a few times as I’ve been to the one in Sheffield which was excellent. However the two in Chesterfield are awful. The iced coffee was warm and tasted horrible I threw it away. I expected a lot more for a five pound coffee. On another visit I was served cows milk when I only drink oat milk, luckily I noticed straight away but there was no apology from the cocky staff. One of the staff members in particular makes me feel very uncomfortable and patronises me every time I go in. Will definitely not be returning and letting...
