Oh ya beauty! This place is heaven. I was drooling at the shop window with all the sweet treats. They have even more inside. The shop is very modern and clean. I like how itâs an open kitchen so you can see the bakers produce the goods. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. There are so much variety from cookies to brownies, loafs to tarts, pies to buns and everything in between. Apparently they change their produce often which I love to hear. The lady that served us told us the history of the shop which was nice. In the end we got a few things. I couldnât pass up on the pistachio and dark chocolate Greek brioche which was so lovely. We also got these Bueno Krema Puff which was deliciously sweet, the crème is so thick that it gets stuck at the roof of your mouth (maybe I should take smaller bites). We also got a small tart which is sugar free but still very tasty. The crust was like a soft biscuit. What stole the show was the filo pastry cone. Much simpler than the other items but tasted divine. The pastry was delicate, sweet and crispy and filling was so delicious. It was a omg moment when it entered my mouth. My wife also got a hot chocolate which was great. But itâs all about the food. If only the shop was located in a nicer area of town. Those roadworks are hideous. I absolutely love this place and want to...
Read moreThe buns. The delightful buns. The magnificent buns. For these buns I would unhesitatingly jump over a crocodile infested ravine. For these buns I would travel across the galaxy with out any heed of the limitations of physics. These buns can solve global warming. The buns can probably bring about world peace, if only enough of us would have them.
I love these buns. I love Krema, the guys are always a delightful bunch, every time I come here we laugh and share our love for the buns. The ever radiant margarita is always on hand with suggestions. Sarah is always smiling, making sure that the buns are coming out on time. Dimitri, my Japanese, or is it Cambodian, friend is always a great laugh, though his hair could do with more frequent cuts, I find itâs too long at times. Yanis/John is one of the stalwarts of the place, ticking away at the back that we may have greater joy in our lives. Vaseliki, who by the way is better looking that Yanis/John, is a crucial figure in the creation of my favourite cinnamon bun. We are grateful. Theo, aka Dimitri Pro Max + hair, is responsible for a lot of the majestic delicacies that are on the menu. He is full of ideas, probably because he has a massive head.

Read moreI went to the "Krema Bakehouse" in Edinburgh on a few occasions, and each time I went there, my taste buds were treated with an unmatched experience. A variety of delicious treats that are nothing short of remarkable can be found at this lovely bakery, which is located in the very centre of the city. The scent of freshly baked items instantly draws your attention the moment you come inside the establishment. Everything that I tried had a mouthwatering flavour and a depth of flavour that lingered in my mouth for a long time. It is without a doubt a masterpiece. An outstanding assortment of pastries and sweets, each of which is prepared with the same level of care and attention to detail, is available at this establishment. The personnel was quite helpful and knowledgable, and they provided suggestions along the course of their service. At the outdoor space, there is a little sitting area with two tables where you and your friends can enjoy your treats. Everyone in the group took pleasure in each and every bite. You should go there if you have a craving for anything sweet, regardless of whether you are a native of Edinburgh or just passing through. It is something that I strongly suggest you...
