Cafe Presko — Restaurant in City of Edinburgh

This has got to be the most appalling service ever we calmly phoned up about an error with the order we said before hand because we were confused as something was missing and calmly asked if there is something missing. Immediately the manager gave straight attitude saying okay “ I’ll refund and send the driver back” I simply said “okay that’s fine there is no need for that if its busy best not to waste the drivers time” “no need for a refund” she then responds with more attitude insisting we don’t leave reviews on the store and then decided to shout at me. I simply made a comment saying I know the owner of the place and this was pretty rude and abnormal of some sort. She then proceeded to shout claiming all calls are recorded then claiming I had threatened her ? Then claiming she would take this all to court. The disrespect over the phone is disgraceful considering it I was calm throughout the whole situation not to mention I was telling her there is no need for a refund. She then passed the phone to another colleague who shouted repeatedly claiming im gonna get sent to court for calling about my order ? I am sure the other colleagues are completely okay so they are not to blame it’s the poor management. Within 15 seconds they were shouting for no reason. If the calls are really recorded then I suggest you have a listen because you will then see the proof of how they treated us for no reason. Of course anyone would be annoyed with missing items and crushed meals how ever I didn’t mind I just asked due...

Dont usually do reviews but that being said.... 1) i got a burger from here and i honestly dont know how my downstairs neighbors didnt put an insurance claim in from water damage from the amount of grease that came off it, there was that much grease the burger actually slipped out my hand when i tried to grab it - soggy greasy minging disaster of a burger 2) i also got sweet potato fries - little good honest tip, dont waste ur money of them as they were another soggy disaster, granted i wasnt drowning in grease this time so aye wasn't as bad as the burger but still on a scale from 1 to 10 they were easily a -5 and that's me being generous, 3) the delivery driver turned up with hardly any change, not that im tight fisted but its nice to pay for what u get and not have to conpensate like a fiver due to them not having the money they should, but being nice/absolutely hanging i decided to bite the bullet and accept it.... After discovering the nick of the burger and chips though i feel as i shouldve been paid to take this food off of them - handsomely at that due to the warped laminate flooring from where the grease saturated them to the high nineties

I havent even touched the bueno cheesecake yet as i feel physically sick from 2 mouth fulls of a double grease burger, but if i do not add another review it was either pretty decent or iv died due to breaking my.neck from slipping on greasy lino...

The food took around an hour to arrive. We ordered a pork dish which was described on Just Eat to come with a sabaw (soup) on the side. The pork was cold and there was no soup. We also ordered the oxtail dish which came in a larger box but the portion was very small with only two fatty bits of meat. The taste of the sauce was nice. The rice portion was very small also. For the price we paid the portions were very small, not enough. I called the restaurant to complain and spoke to a nice woman who offered to compensate with a couple of dishes to be delivered. She said the driver is out but it would take 20 minutes for our extra dishes to come. 1 hour later we were still waiting for these dishes. I called the restaurant again and spoke to a rude male this time who asked "what do you want?". I explained the situation so which he blamed on the driver and told me the lady had gone home. He said the food is on its way and when I asked for a time he said maybe two minutes. Another 20 minutes later the delivery arrived (22.27). We were sent a box of noodles and a beef dish both hot and nice. Bit of a shame as we were looking forward to having a different type of takeaway but for the price and portions we may as well have just had a regular...
