A Hidden Gem – Elam Café is a Must-Visit! Elam is hands down one of the coziest and most welcoming cafés I've ever been to. From the moment you walk in, you're greeted with warm smiles, a calming atmosphere, and the rich aroma of freshly brewed coffee. The menu is thoughtfully curated — whether you're in the mood for a perfect flat white, a refreshing herbal tea, or a delicious homemade pastry, Elam delivers every time. I especially recommend their Milk cake and egg puffs absolutely divine! The space is beautifully designed, with plenty of natural light and just the right balance of modern and rustic charm. It’s a great spot to catch up with friends, get some work done, or just unwind on your own. Customer service is consistently top-notch friendly, efficient, and genuinely attentive. Elam clearly cares about quality and community, and it shows. Already looking forward to...

Stumbled into Cafe Elam on Gorgie Road and instantly felt like I’d been wrapped in a warm Kerala hug. The smell of fresh snacks, the cosy wooden counter, the soft lights, jars of colourful treats, and little Kerala touches on the walls – it’s the kind of place that instantly makes you feel at home. The people here welcome you with such warmth that you almost forget you’re a customer – it’s like visiting a friend’s place who insists you must try everything. I started with falooda, pazhampuri, and egg puffs – all so good that I couldn’t stop there. Ended up taking a cream bun and a custard bun which just melted in my mouth like a cream rush.

Their menu is huge, full of authentic Kerala flavours, and so affordable that you can happily sample your way through it without thinking twice. Left with a happy stomach, a warm heart, and plans to come...

This cafe ambience and decor is nice to sideline on a busy day and located close to Krishna foods , the taste is good but only thing is they don’t serve hot , rather they keep it ready in a oven and then serve in Oven hot … infact when I requested if you can make it hot , they said oven items are fresh and made hot but they weren’t !

Customer delight is going that extra mile to keep customers happy , not to reinstate what you want . Pls take it as constructive feedback and provide as per...

A unique cafe in the Gorgie area of Edinburgh. This is a Kerala cafe serving authentic snacks and drinks from Kerala. The snacks and drinks are reasonably priced, and I love the fact that it is open from 4 pm to 11 pm, so one has options to meet for a coffee in the evening, not at a bar/pub. The drinks are light and not too syrupy or oversweet. I recommend their filter coffee, egg puff and falooda. The service is friendly too.

I recently visited Elam Cafe with my friend, and we tried their chattipathiri and chaya. The taste was simply amazing — rich, flavorful, and truly delicious. It instantly reminded me of the way my mom used to make it, bringing back so many nostalgic memories. The chattipathiri had that authentic Malabar touch, and the tea was the perfect companion. A must-try for anyone craving homely Malabar flavors!
