After a long day at my part-time work, I was heading back home when I came across Potobe. The place instantly caught my attention, and I decided to give it a try – and I’m so glad I did!
I ordered Dai Kachori, Lemon Mint Soda, and Gulab Jamun, and each one of them was nothing short of amazing. The Dai Kachori was packed with authentic flavors that instantly reminded me of Indian street-side evening chats. The Lemon Mint Soda was refreshing, the perfect balance of tangy and cooling – just what I needed after a tiring day. To finish it off, the Gulab Jamun was soft, warm, and absolutely melt-in-the-mouth delicious.
The whole experience was not just about food – it was heart-touching and nostalgic. It genuinely felt like being transported back to the lively Indian evenings filled with chat and sweets.
💯 A mind-blowing experience, and I’d highly recommend Potobe to anyone craving authentic Indian flavors. Definitely a place I’ll be...
Read moreI have been to potoba quite a few times now. When I have been there for the first time there was a man with smiling face and felt good as a customer and the next few times I only encountered with an arrogant man at the till. I think he is a punjabi (not being a racist but for awareness). Literally no welcoming nature at all, no patience and always that arrogant facial expressions as if they are providing a free food. My last visit to this place again left me with an unpleasant experience as they failed to serve me by their own where as they table served the other customers. I think it's because I only ordered for 10 pounds? Have some respect towards your customers no matter they order for 1 pound or 100 pounds. This is ridiculous. I wouldn't recommend this place in terms of worse customer service and that...
Read moreI constantly crave delicious North Indian cuisine, and this eatery tops my list of favorites. They offer a wide range of tasty options for quick bites. Personally, I love their dahi kachori—it's simply divine. I also highly recommend trying their vada pav; it's absolutely delicious. While I've sampled their samosa chaat, gol gappe, and cheese corn sandwich, nothing beats the dahi kachori and vada pav, which are my must-order dishes every visit.
I have also tried masala chaach and it’s good.
Recently, they added pav bhaji to their menu. As expected, Patoba never fails to delight with their delicious meals, and their pav bhaji is the best you would find in Edinburgh.
Must try: pav bhaji, dahi...
